Anyone else completely devastated and lost all joy in this season

I am bummed. His playmaking ability will be missed. But, don’t kill me for saying this…the run defense will actually be a little better without him. We’re still competing with the 49ers and Eagles who are run heavy. If Gilmore, bland , Lewis can stay healthy that is respectable with our front.

I am bummed also. I love Diggs but played really bad against the 49ers in the playoffs. His “business decisions “ hurt us at times. I’m thinking without Diggs we won’t have as many interceptions but without Diggs we will not have as many big plays against us. Don’t get me wrong, I’m bummed he’s gone but he’s not the most physical player out there. We just can’t afford another injury at CB

I have to admit, it definitely took a little bit of air out of my sails. We finally have a damn good secondary and this happens. Hard not to feel like this team is snake-bitten sometimes. I realize we have some guys behind him, but it still sucks. Nothing we can do about it though except keep moving forward and seeing how it plays out.

Plus a good DL / pass rush makes any CBs life so much easier.

Hardly a reason to despair. We've overcome injuries in the past. See last year. It sucks to lose him but this pass rush is phenomenal. Even losing Diggs I'm confident this defense will not take a step back. Bland has proven to be a ball hawking playmaker in the secondary. Lewis is solid. Igbinoghene (can someone give this guy a nickname so I don't have to Google it) is an unknown right now. Yeah he struggled in MIA. This ain't MIA. Quinn may be able to tap into the talent that made him a 1st rounder. Wait and see

Ok sad guy, I'm gonna keep the faith that with this defensive front creating pressure that our corners are going to be ok. Obviously Diggs is a loss but there's still enough secondary talent between the CB and S positions that I'm not going to cry unless we start to have a lot more of them go down.

You don’t replace Diggs. But the only positive is is maybe you get less of a gamble and more of a breakup the pass and not get beat defender.
