Anyone else disappointed Bledsoe show no support for Romo on the sidelines?

Sorry I don't believe that you ever write off a season, all I'm saying is Crayton is a WR not a QB and other than Bledsoe the only other QB with this organization is Baker. I don't know if the rumor is true or not that Bledsoe has packed up and is about to head out of Dallas or not I also don't think your going to find much out on the streets at this point so that leaves you will few options and Baker would be the most likely. Right now I don't know what tomorrow will bring to this team but I do know you never give up

I'm not arguing that Baker would likely be the 2nd string QB if Bledsoe retires in the season. I'm just saying that having UDRFA backing up inexperienced QB is a pretty good start to having a very bad remainder of the season. I think we most likely went from a 9-10 win team to being more around a 6-7 win team.

You could be right we will see what happens. What I expect is for the player to rally around Romo and bust their butts to get things turned around. At this stage I have no expectations good or bad about what our record may be but I do expect the players to give it every thing they got.

Help him do what? Bledsoe is not the QB coach. I would think if Romo went to Bledsoe about something Drew would give him advise but that would be about it. Chris Palmer is the QB coach and that is the guy Romo needs to go to and work with.
Bledsoe can help Romo see what the D is doing along with palmer, also help him with technique if romo is doing something wrong. Why limit yourself to one guy when you can have multiple guys help you with tons of experience??????????????? that would be foolish on Romo's part. in NY when Eli was a rookie after every drive whether it was good or bad you could see that Warner was with Eli going through what he did right and wrong. You dont think Warner helped Eli improve in certain areas and you dont think that Eli appreciated Warner for that??????

I think Bledsoe job is a QB not Romo trainer. Palmer job is to work with the QB. As I said if Romo goes to Bledsoe I think Drew is professional enough to give advice but no I don't expect to see Drew helping to develope his replacement. Fact is most QB I have heard have said the same, they will give advice but they are not there to train their replacement.

Yes i agree with u that most QB's are like that but i would hope that he could be a class act like Warner who helped out a young QB even though he was a former 2 time MVP. that would be very helpful to Romo

I can just see the veteran qb help scenario from Drew to Tony. "Now Tony when facing an aggressive defense stay rooted in one spot, pat the ball a few times to psyche out the defense and take the sack. This will show the defense you are one crazy quarterback mofo and that you can take a hit from the best of them". " Also take your time reading the defense and releasing the football. It is aerobically beneficial for your receivers to run around like 7 kinds of wild lemming and the longer your O line has to block the greater their upper body strength will become. And of course they will be evolve into a more cohesive unit".

Bledsoe would shock me to the extreme if he even remotely tried to help Romo in any way. He's a past his prime QB that is scorned after having been embarassed on the grandest stage. With that having been said, BRING ON THE ROMO ERA! :star: :star: :star:

As much as I have criticized Bledsoe, I must say that he played it correctly.
To get up in his hour of humiliation to pretend he's rooting for the new guy on the block would be hypocracy to the nth degree.
He is better than that.
I know about being benched in college. The challenge is to get up and get going again. What bledsoe was going through was real. He chose not to compound the humiliation by being phony.

True. That's only one of the five stages of grief though.

Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance

I only hope is he quickly moves on to the acceptance stage and provides a backup role for the rest of the season. The thought of Vinny back on the sidelines makes me toss in my throat.
