Anyone else get Cowboys memes all the time?

I would say at least once a week during the offseason and way more often during the season, I'll either get a text or a facebook post that makes fun of the Cowboys via a meme.

The most popular ones seem to be the "Tornado warning! Please head to Cowboys Stadium as there is no threat of a touchdown there." or anything to do with Romo or "The last remaining cheerleader since the Cowboys won a Super Bowl" and it has an elderly lady in a Cowboys cheerleader outfit.

Anyways, I thought they would stop now that the Boys are winning again. Nope. Still getting them regularly. Now not only are they not funny, but they don't even make sense now. I know everyone hates the Boys, but it's just stupid when we are winning.

Just wondering if anyone else still has people posting or texting negative Cowboys memes to you despite our newfound winning ways.

It's probably cause I have friends who are Commanders, Patriots, Steelers, 49ers, Packers, Bears and Lions fans, so they are always looking for ways to rib me.

I stopped following the NFL on facebook (largely left facebook altogether now, who needs it?) because 90% of user comments are reposted and tired memes. I guess the typical user there doesn't quite generate enough brainpower to write their own comment.

I see that Tornado/Touchdown one all the time and it's the worst.

1. The Cowboys offense has generally been good, so it doesn't make sense.
2. So no one scores touchdowns at AT&T? Cowboys defense must be pretty good then.

At first i thought you were saying that your just getting them to your phone from random sites or something.

I dont get them at all. But it sound like a younger generation thing. I live in philly so most folks i work with or associate with are eagles fans, giants fans or steelers fans so you would think i would get them.

But im not on facebook or any other social media, though i could get them by text i suppose......but still i think its a younger thing and most people who want to bust on me would probably just wait till they see me and say "your boys are going down this year" to my face... or call me and say something about Romo while having a football conversation.

My girl friend posted the tornado warning one on my facebook. I just laughed, living in Houston I catch hell for being a Cowboy fan and frankly I would not have it any other way.

Frankly I have seen more trashing of the Cowboys right here that bugs me more than fans of another team. That's life
