I really feel that the saints exposed us last year..and made a blueprint for teams to beat us.
Im glad were not playing them next year and hope we dont meet in the playoffs.
This team got bullied in that game and lost their composure and it never returned.
Until this team amends for that, they are not going to get past the next hump.
Same thing with the whipping the Eagles gave them to take the Eastern Division.
This team has alot of rebuilding to do and to do it, it's going to have to be at the expense of the teams like the Saints and the Iggles if it's going to happen.
This team had control of it's season, then lost it's resolve and then cowered down the stretch trying to back in to the playoffs and couldn't even get that right.
Dallas was lucky to get there at all to play Seattle.
They played poorly under Bledsoe, then had about 5 good games when Romo took over and then played poorly in the last 4 games with Romo.
And the Saints started that skid for us.
So no, if this team has an ounce of pride, they will want the Saints and the sooner the better.
Unfortunately, they won't get that chance until the playoffs IF both teams get there. That's not a lock either way.
So Dallas may have to live with that body slam called a game they had dished out to them at Texas Stadium by the Saints.
It maybe better that way. Dallas may have to deal with digesting that loss for awhile and need to do so so as not to allow it to happen again.
Because no matter how good Dallas might become next year, people will be pointing to that Saints game as being the defining moment of the Cowboys and wondering if some other team is going to replace the Saints and still slam it to us.
So while Dallas might be remembered for the failed snap in Seattle, the humiliation against NO cuts much deeper and will last much longer than Seattle and did more to hurt Dallas than even the fumble with 1:09 to go.
We'll see how or if it gets exorcized.
