I've always wanted a Cowboys /Patriots SB, and the patriots did there job today, can you imagine the mecca of a Super Bowl with both these teams in the Big game? Would Anyone else prefer the Patriots if we get there?

Dream? nah, so long as Dallas is there I don't care who they play, though a Colt rematch would be boring as the uniforms are too similar in color contrast.

Denver would be the most interesting competition I think, both as an opponent, and in uniform contrast....Cincinnati would've been good too, but alas.

My cousin is a die hard Pats fan. We were just having thsi same conversation. It would be the highest rated Super Bowl in NFL history. What an epic matchup from so many angles.

Yes, the Stealers. But the Pats are probably #2 on my list.

One more Manning loss and he'll really get to join Elway in Denver for that dubious distinction, the elite group of four with three or more Super Bowl losses, of course one more for Brady does that too.

Tarkenton, Elway, Kelly all have three or more Super Bowl defeats, Brady or manning could join them this year.

It's probably the dream match-up as far as the NFL is concerned. All the haters and conspiracy nuts would come out of the wood work for that super bowl.

It would make for really good SB and win would be huge against the Pats, at the same time just getting to the SB would be huge as well

Hell no, I remember the day in 2007 when the Patriots came into Texas Stadium and HUMILIATED the then undefeated (and eventually 13-3) Cowboys, even running up the score. No, I want no part of them, no more than I'd jump in the ring with Tyson in the 90s.

Yeah, I know that was a while back, and they have slipped a bit since then, but out of the remaining AFC teams, they still scare me the most.

Say what you want about their defense, etc.. yes, Baltimore ran on them, but it didn't matter. Any game where they have a healthy Brady, they stand a very good chance of winning. Not since the 49ers with Montana, has a team been that consistently good based on one player.

My wife is a huge Patriots fan, so it would be an interesting situation watching the game together. While in Vegas last year, we both made bets that our respective teams would win the SB, so that would work out for us, although mine would pay quite a bit more than hers.

Did you bet they'd just get there?
