He's been one of my favorites for this scheme thoughout. But now that we also have an earlier 3rd round pick, I'm almost tempted to wait until 74.

Cyprien is a ss, not what we need on our team..we already have church and mj do we have to always draft tacklers not ballhawks? (Holding judgement on mj but still)

I think Cyprien can play FS and cover deep half.

Exactly. Thomas has good ball skills but does not consistently tackle or seem to play with much physicality at all.

As for Swearinger he ran a 4.6 but did great in the 3 cone and the shuttle.. a 4.6 isn't terrible for a safety anyway it is what Vaccaro ran.. When you are back there it is as much about angles as anything.. Swearinger would be perfect for this team we need some swagger and guys that play with pride and play angry on this defense.
