Anyone else worried about the eagles D?

I'm sure they'll grant your wish. Should be interesting, Romo hasn't had his best games against the Eagles but is that because of something they specifically do, or just because Romo had a couple of off days?

My guess is the latter -- good mobility, great pocket and overall field awareness, quick release and extremely accurate. The perfect recipe to beat a blitz and make them pay heavily on the other end.

There is going to be some big plays in this one. I'm sure they won't make the mistake that Cleveland did. They'll put a safety over the top against Owens the majority of the time, but Crayton, Witten and Austin will shred this D to smithereens. Not to mention, our offensive line and MBIII are going to eat their smallish defensive players for dinner.

He's like 1-2, against the Eagles.

But you must have forgotten that he shredded that defense the first game last season if I'm wrong someone correct me on this he was like 21 of 28 324 yds 4TDs 1 Int.

So if he has time in the pocket Monday night, the same result will occur no matter who is in the Eagles' secondary.

Why would I be worried? I am at home watching the game. I doubt the players are worried anyways, they go home to their big homes looking at there fat bank account regardless if they win or lose.

Honestly, if you aren't fired up after a comment like this, you don't have a pulse.
I feel the same way. There's always a little apprehension with a division game coming up, but after being in Cleveland last week, this team is going to be hard to beat. Hard to beat.

That is the truth alot of of us are very apprehensive, when it comes to the Philadelphia Eagles.

But I for one don't fear the Eagles D, because it will be up to the Cowboys, to execute and make the key plays for a win.

If they don't win Monday night, then hey they will have another shot at them down the road and that is the beauty of a divisional game you get another shot for redemption.

I'm always worried about divisional games. But the eagles are always a pain in the behind as of late. They just know how to counter Dallas. And yes I know we torched them for 30+ last season but for the most part they are always up to play and play us harder then any other NFC East rival IMO.


They have Litto, brown and Asante. That is one heck of a Secondary anyone who doesnt see that is crazy. witten is going to have to play big in order for us to win and Our running game is gonna have to step up. We'll really get to see if Romo improved his game this offseason. He will have to be patient and go through the reads as fast and best as possible. because knowing their Defensive C they will bring the heat!.


I hope We just dismantle them, but my gut feeling is it will be a darn tough game that might come down to a last minute drive.

I know we can beat the Eagles if we perform like we did in game 1 @ Philly last year but I'm so beaten down by getting dominated by them in the last 16 games (we're 4-12 since 99') and the fact that everytime I start to believe we've turned the corner, they come out and beat us yet again (xmas eve game in 06 and the loss last year at home).

Therefore, I expect them to pressure Romo into turnovers and our bend but dont break defense to allow them to move the ball on us all day long.

Flame away, I guess I deserve it, I just don't trust our Cowboys yet when it comes to Philly, there's simply been too much losing to this damn team recently for me to be very confident. Not to mention that everytime I finally get confident, they come in and kick our Ace.

Gawd I hope I'm wrong......sorry guys I've lost confidence when it comes to playing the Eagles, I just don't know how to be wildly optimistic in the face of the facts of our recent track record against this dang team, man I hate the Eagles and wish they'd freakin die and go back to being cellar dwellers
