Anyone feel better about the offense now?

The offense hasn't really been great this season. But they played extremely well this game. I'll take their play today all season.
Yes, it was a good game. Dak had some on the spot passes, receivers got some good YACs and the o line did a fantastic job.

Wins against Detroit and Chicago shouldn't be the bar for us this year though. If we win against Minny we're for real. I mean we already are for real, since we beat the two SB teams and the red hot Giants with our backup QB. But since this season is kinda upside down, winning against a constantly well playing team like the Vikings would substantiate that impression of being a contender.

Schultz was a factor again.

No I still saw lack luster separation and this wasn't a good team.
Look at their record and points allowed for the season. The Bears still have a very good defense. 18.8 points per game, never even 30 this season, before today. Only 12 and 14 their previous two games. I was completely surprised by both our points and their points.

Facing guys like Trey Lance, Davis Mills, Jones/Zappe, and Tyrod Taylor against the NYG can help out those numbers.

The offense is definitely better with Dak than it is Rush.

I know Dak was awful against Tampa bay. But I feel like people lost sight of it for a while because the team was winning with Rush as QB and rush was holding his own. Thank goodness he did a great job as the backup.

But the offense is better with Dak than Rush.

I also feel like our OL is consistently playing better and better as they have more time operating together and the young guys get more experience.

On their 5th possession I was thinking here is where they need Zeke. That milk the clock beat up on the defense RB.

Imagine if Pollard and Shultz were put in to give us the lead. Then Zeke and Ferguson came in to milk the clock and help wear the defense down. That would be using your personnel properly.

I mean some. But there is still room for improvement. Need another playmaker at WR. Whether that is via trade or in house development, I don't care.

Some people remind me of old school pc players who cant enjoy the game because one blade of grass popped in or the frames dropped from 60fps to 59fps for 2 seconds

im good we won and looked good

Yea, this shouldn’t be a surprise. Of course the O will be better when our starting QB is back and the rust is starting to shake off.

That being said, we still need help at WR. Current group we have isn’t good enough to make a playoff run IMO.

Really good game, not just the points put up, but the O Line looking great and Dak's timing with receivers clicking well, both things I was specifically worried about.

They are getting better, O line is playing good, Dak had a good game and the tight ends too. Having said that...the receivers are the weak spot, they are not getting separation, and against teams with better pass rush, that can slow down our running game and have better cover corners this won't do, I'm afraid.

No, we beat a team that was not as good as us, so it was a game we better of won. Let's have this conversation in another 10 weeks or so when the games are do or die against the top tier teams
