Anyone feel better about the offense now?

Dak is back.

Yep, you give him a nice Dog team playing their 2nd road game on a short week with a bunch of Turnovers and a running game that can't be stopped...... Dak is back!!!!

Let us know when the above doesn't occur can we count on Dak passing us to victory????

Ya thought so......

If they'd been playing an NFL team I might've felt better.

Hard to not be a little upset that Clemson stayed in it for as long as they did.

I guess Dabo is the real deal.[/QUOTE That "Clemson" team is far and away the best rushing team in the NFL. They just BLEW OUT the Patriots in New England last week. They also beat the vaunted SF 49ers. But somehow, Dallas blows them out and presto.....they are Clemson

Look at their record and points allowed for the season. The Bears still have a very good defense. 18.8 points per game, never even 30 this season, before today. Only 12 and 14 their previous two games. I was completely surprised by both our points and their points.
I believe the Bears defense was terrible against the run coming in, but top 3 against the pass. Dak shredded that secondary in the first half like they were nothing. This Their timing and tempo was excellent.

Yes. They played well. Pollard needs to be a big part going forward…

Turpin should be used on offence more. With Pollard and Turpin you have guys that have the ability to take it to the house everytime they touch the ball…

Two words:

Bottom Feeders.

Thats what Chicago is.

Its against the good teams that we need good QB play. Thats why I support Luka as my QB in the upcoming Playoffs.

42 points is wonderful . Eberflus was Colts DC after his stint here . That Bear defense worst we’ve seen in 2022 . He has his work cut out for him.

Wr is still a big weakness.

Offense is good, but certainly not elite.

Yes, until Zeke comes back and our FO and coaches deny what they witnessed in the game.

Chicago was 3 and 4 coming into the game. They have the 2nd ranked D. And they have the number 1 rush offence. Getting up by 19 should have silenced their run game…but they just kept running…take the win, get rested and healthier over the week off…when Dak went down I never thought we’d be 6-2 at the break…so we are fine. We are the top wildcard seed as well. Let’s hope someone trips up Philly.

Come on buddy, you know when you lose to the Cowboys you lose a notch on the credit meter.:rolleyes:o_Oo_O

2mil salary left for this season, and a 7 mil salary guaranteed for next season.
9mil for Cedric for a season and a half? Comes in at 6mil/full season.

Maybe I would have gone for that in the offseason, but with the emergence of Brown as a legitimate 3rd, and Gallup healthy and signed, I don't see Cedric giving us anything more than depth. He doesn't give us something we don't already have. Still too much for a 4th.

And then, Miami probably wants a pick.

I say no. Given Wilson's lack of production and snaps in Miami, they likely cut him next year and he'll be available for cheap. I don't see us as desperate for anything he brings for the remainder of the season, so no.

But it was an interesting thought.

To compare, Wilson has just four catches for 40 yards this season with the Dolphins and recently was relegated to returning punts last week. He's appeared in less than 20 percent of Miami's offensive snaps, and Sunday's special-teams snaps were his first of the season.

With Wilson's current salary and lack of playing time, the Dolphins might be motivated for a trade before Tuesday's deadline. Miami has about $11 million available right now in free cap space, and moving Wilson would add an additional $7.1 million between this year and next.

Wilson's remaining salary for 2022 is around $2.1 million, certainly affordable for Dallas. Would the Cowboys be interested in Wilson for his $7 million fully guaranteed salary next season?

The offense hasn't really been great this season. But they played extremely well this game. I'll take their play today all season.

Much better. Dak looked good but for the INT, which was a bad play for the situation and a blind throw into coverage. Bad move. But he looked really good otherwise. Accurate and with zip. Useful running.

Not surprised that Pollard managed to look good. Pleasantly surprised with both Gallup and Schulz.

Anyone watch the oline in detail? I'd like to know how the left side looked. Was Peters playing?

I feel like we are better balanced now not only the offense but as a team in general than we have been all year, the play calls today except for at least one I can think of right before halftime was pretty good also, good in that we used all of our strengths and not just putting it on a couple of players.

Phins can have Tolbert.

I feel about the same, except it was refreshing to see Dak passing where every pass wasn't 30 yds.
