Anyone feel better about the offense now?

Dak looked pretty sharp and the receivers are playing well. Let’s hope the week off doesn’t mess with their timing.

Defense just needs to get healthy. Most guys on D are playing injured. Secondary may be an issue if guys keep getting banged up.

I’ll take 6-2 at the bye all day. Gonna need 7-2 in the second half to have a chance in the East unfortunately.

Look at their record and points allowed for the season. The Bears still have a very good defense. 18.8 points per game, never even 30 this season, before today. Only 12 and 14 their previous two games. I was completely surprised by both our points and their points.
Laying down some serious facts right there!!!

I knew that once Dak came back and got back into the rhythm the offense would start looking their old self.

So do I feel better? No. I wasn't worried to begin with.

No, we beat a team that was not as good as us, so it was a game we better of won. Let's have this conversation in another 10 weeks or so when the games are do or die against the top tier teams
No, the conversation is now, not in 10 weeks. We are 6-2 and just beat the Bears by 20 points. We still have a lot of good football to play yet, whether we go deep in the playoffs or not. To be 6-2 despite losing our starting QB for several weeks is a victory in itself. A lot of fans are happy and excited about that.
Let's enjoy it while we can. If we can extend it further yet, so much the better.

No not at all. Dak always downs this vs weaker opponents. Do it vs a contender and he’d get my attention.

If they'd been playing an NFL team I might've felt better.

Hard to not be a little upset that Clemson stayed in it for as long as they did.

I guess Dabo is the real deal.

Well guess what..... Brady and Rodgers LOSS to worse teams than the Bears last week.... Brady only scored 3 points against the Panthers and Rodgers loss to the Commanders.....

With that said, last i checked, the NFL have the best football talent in the world. All 32 teams have paid professionals. We beat an NFL team called the Chicago Bears. Google them. They're a professional football team and we blew them out....

No take that Cowboys W and hold it for a minute.

We expect this against the weak teams. We've seen this a bunch. I do LOVE the run game.
When we see this after the bye week against teams that don't self destruct, then I will be happy.

They are all paid professionals who play in the most talented football league in the world.

All athletes, coaches and GMs said its hard as hell to win in this league..... we have won more than we have loss against other professional franchises.

You think Brady thought that the Panthers would hold him to just 3 points?

You think Aaron Rodgers knew they would get beat by the Commanders???

They say any given Sunday for a reason. We took care of business.....

Kellen installed a lot of new stuff, mainly getting Dak out of the pocket where he has a chance and intermediate routes open up. Plus no one can argue Pollard should be the featured back going forward. Unless you're the idiot who grossly overpaid the FB Zeke.

the Bears have a quick elusive QB who is difficult to stop .
Until he gets hurt, then they're toast.
Overall we played well yesterday.

So where were the points? He nearly got shutout against the Bucs and scored a whopping 10 points in the first 55 minutes of the game against the worst defense in the league.

Brady only put up 3 points against the Panthers.... the same horrible Panthers team that traded away their best asset, they are playing under an interim coach, and already gave up on the season.....

With that said, how many quarterbacks came back from the same hand injury as Dak and lit it up in their second game within 9 months???? Russell Wilson had a similar injury and it took him 3 games to get back to normal.

I know when the Cowboys win with Dak under center.... it upset you. So this weekend just like last.... PLEASE hold this personal L that you took watching us win.

The offense hasn't really been great this season. But they played extremely well this game. I'll take their play today all season.
Me too. I felt good about it. We play offense like that the rest of the season we'll be a force to be reckoned with. I firmly believe if we had Dak for the Eagles game we win that game. And I'm not a Dak fan. But Dak played efficient, decisively and was hitting WRs in stride. The only boo boo he had was the costly pick before half. Take that play away and Dak played well enough to beat any team we play. He has to eliminate that pick. Again I'm not a Dak fan and I'm usually the first to bash him but I'm calling it like I see it. He played great. Also it's encouraging that this is his 2nd game back from a long injury and he looked in sync with the offense. Again very encouraging moving forward. Offense was killing it today. Very exciting. If we have a reverse season than last year where our offense was killing it in the beginning of the season then sputtered at the end and the playoffs then we may make some noise. If our offense hits it's stride going into Nov, Dec and Jan then we're dangerous. Especially with a playmaking defense. Overall this was an encouraging and exciting game.

I love winning before a bye.

I'm happy about certain aspects of the offense, yes. But I'm still concerned about other aspects of the offense. Dak is still throwing careless interceptions and Pollard still can't pick up a blitz. They are improving.

We played the Bears? No way. They wouldn't be caught dead in those uniforms.

If you consider the watered down WR depth chart. I'd say things could be much worse. Good production and control over a solid defense.

The Bears had given up the 3rd fewest yards per game passing until yesterday. I thought the balance of the Cowboys offense was exceptional and the execution much better than we have seen in a while.

Having said that, the Bears do not sack QBs much, and do not stop the run so its hard to gauge the offense. Still, looking at the rest of the league, the Cowboys and Eagles are showing the most ability on both sides of the ball.

Through much of the afternoon, yes. After watching the Bills last night....still yes, but I worry about the teams' ability to score with the likes of the Eagles, Chiefs or Bills.

I wish the Cowboys would adopt more RPO than they show. It's clearly effective.

The Bears certainly aren't a top team, but they were 3-4 coming into the game, including a win over SF. The Cowboys put up more yards and far and away more points against them than anyone else. Bottom line, beating the Bears isn't a major accomplishment, but the win and how the team did it shouldn't be sneezed at either.

No, when Zeke comes back he regains his title of lead RB....if you listened to Jerry Zombie he pretty much says so

I was being sarcastic and taking a shot at their ugly uniforms. With their run heavy RPO and orange rush unis it felt like watching a college team. They're a team that's going to knock a few off though. Fields is an insane athlete, so much so he couldn't help but hurdle Parsons.

I'll take any win honestly.
