Im all for that if the team sucks and we are rebuilding, but no way am I handing over the keys to the kingdom to a college coach.

Terrell Owens would eat this guy alive, no doubt in my mind.

Besides, I am on record stating that it is not the coaching it is the players.

Bob Stoops is the worst motivator in the college game right now. And that is what we lack right now. His biggest challange at OU is motivating talented players to do anything and he's failed miserably every time. You think he would be any better than Phillips in that reguard? He hasn't proven that so far.

With John Blake you knew that OU was bad almost every game. Even if they win. With Stoops you don't know what the expect in some games, especially big games.
