Anyone get feeling MM is coming back?

.. I sure do. Other than the Covid season. MM has done a good job as HC.

Players like him, coaches like him. Brings a football atmosphere.

Compare that to Garrett days, of robotic expressions and sayings.

Should Dallas get deep into playoffs, its very viable he returns.

If he wins a game in the playoffs I can't imagine a scenario where he doesn't return.

Scratch that - there may be a few scenarios that involve a buffet gluttony death, some sort of photo surfacing where Jerry is pushing Rodney King, and perhaps one where Jason Garrett sits outside Jerry's window at night and keeps clapping until he's rehired.

Prior to the season most felt if the Cowboys don’t go deep in the playoffs or at least win a playoff game he would be gone. However, with the team going 4-1 with a backup QB, along with Tyron going down prior to the regular season it’s looking like McCarthy will be back regardless if the Cowboys do anything in the playoffs. He’s going to be given a lot of credit for keeping the team together, despite the players we lost during the offseason and losing his QB for the first five games this season.

He’s done a good job all things considered. I’d argue it’s more difficult to find an elite HC than it is to find an elite QB these days

If MM wins a playoff game, I see him coming back. Quinn has said repeatedly that he loves it here and is not interested in a HC job. Someone could offer Moore a gig, so I can see MM gain more control of the offense, along with an “Offensive Consultant”.
