It was a bad outing for us. We got smoked. Especially our Defense. They allowed at least 5 tds on the first 5 drives of the game.

But they for sure got a jump start from the refs in the 1st quarter. Come on. Did saints dbs even look back for the ball. So many broken plays the defender draped all over our WR and went through them with no flag. Never looking for the ball. We had a break up where our defender got there a tick early and they threw that one with no problem.

Lamb was interfered with in the endzone and then another defender came over and hit him helmet to helmet with no flag. Tolbert had a contested one handed catch where the defender was all over him early and never looked for the ball with no flag.

Then early on Lamb had a flag picked up because the ball was not catchable. Was not catchable because he was not allowed to run his route. Instead they called a ticky tack call on our O-Line.

I am sure some will pick and choose other plays we got away with something but the first quarter was obviously one sided calls.

I thought Lamb was hit in the head too, but on review, it looked like a good no call. Guy got him in the chest.

The uncatchable ball was because Dak sailed it out of bounds. Nobody could have possibly caught the ball, even without any contact at all.

No way that ball was catchable. That thing almost went in the stands.

The refs were not our problem.

It wouldn’t have changed the outcome of the game, but yes, the officials were terrible in yesterday’s game.

Bad and/or missed calls by the refs are a part of the game; but in this instance the refs were the least of Dallas’ problems…this was an epic organizational failure maybe even more prolific than the playoff game against the Packers.
While I share your frustration with the refs, the calls in question against CD I thought were good calls.

I didn't think the refs did a horrible job to be honest.

The early PI that people wanted called because the Saints player didnt look back is rarely called....If you flag LBs for not getting their heads around on underthrown balls you're going to have a flag fest.

The pass to Lamb was way off the mark. It came down 5 yards past Lamb and 2-3 yards out of bounds. No chance of anyone catching that one.

On the helmet to helmet if you watch the replay there is zero helmet contact there. That was a textbook hit by #5 on that play.

Micah got held on the long bomb it was an easy call and they swallowed their whistles
I am not seeing it here. Here is the video @TheMarathonContinues posted in another thread to me. I'll ask you what I asked him. At any point here, do you see the OL pull back on Parsons? Parsons actually has his left hand free and chose to try to dislodge the OL's grip on him with it and then looks like he stumbles downward as he's trying to change directions for a more straight shot at Carr. Go full screen and pause the video, then move the slider back and forth for your own slo-mo looksie. You'll see it seems Parsons actions that make him dip and/or stumble, not the OL pulling him. I'd love to see a reverse angle or close-up of the OL's grip but at least here I can see why it's not a hold. Other posters here have taken care of the other slanderous accusations against the poor, poor, innocent refs just trying to do the best they can.

What about that ticky tack OL ineligible downfield call on the Saints on that wide open TD…

I dont really see it either. I mean I sort of see it, but that doesnt get called all that often. I'm not a rules expert but I watch a ton of football and from what I can see typically the flag comes out if the defender can create distance from the OL so the pull is obvious and you can typically see the fist along with the jersey pulling. These two are tangled and Micah gets a step on him but the OT gives a push and lets go. Even if he were held here I think Micah struggles to get more holding calls because he doesnt use his upper body well to rip up and through the hold to make it apparent. You can see in the video he dips his whole body down in trying to get around the edge which actually hides the OL hands.

A lot of people have an issue with this not being called but the one on Guyton. Difference is Guyton doesnt let go once the defender was around him. The refs in general only called about 1 offensive holding call per team per game last year. So far this year its about 1.3 and most of holding calls are on run plays. The NFL typically doesnt like to call holding on pass plays unless its obvious.

First series of the game for the Cowboys the refs missed obvious face mask. They even showed the replay.

How in the hell can you miss blatantly grabbing the RB's facemask?

I knew then it was business as usual the rest of the game.
That is a fair one. From the replay that one was hard to miss.

I agree there were a few they missed that could’ve led to TDS early as opposed to Field goals.
