I guess Dixon did have a game where he got two sacks.

At least Dixon saw the field.

Goodrich didn't even get that far.

QB - no one.

RB - no one. they are not going to want PS players they couldve picked up for nothing during the season.

WR - Austin or Hurd. I wouldn't mind seeing Hurd go, i think hes hit his ceiling. I want to see if Austin can improve his hands cause if he does, he will be a player. i think both would be reasonable however.

OL - ive heard McQuistan, Free and Marten thrown around but I am not seeing us giving up young talent like that. If anything I would think Berger or Procter might be possibilities.

TE - Fasano or Curtis. The Titans dont need them and i think if its Fasano it would have to be straight up. i don't see it.

DL Stephen Bowen is a huge possibility that i dont see people talking about. Hes pretty good and would hit in as a DE opposite Vanden Bosch and they need help there. if you look at titans boards this si one place tghey say they need somebody. Id hate to lose him as he gets to the QB and has good size but i also dont know what our long term plans are for him

LB - They do need LB help so obviously Burnett and Carp have to enter the discussion. It really comes down to what the staff thinks. If Wade thinks theyre not suited for inside in his 3-4 then so be it. I think they would have to be straight up or the Titans would need to send more back our way.

DB - Hope and Griffin are good safeties they dont need help there like they did last season. Finnegan is developing but Harper is old and has lost a couple of steps. i could see Ball or Oglesby here but i doubt wed be willing to give up at a position where we are so thin.

True but many a time i wished he hadn't. Him sucking less than everyone else is no excuse.

Actually, have we ever had a worst 2nd rounder than Goodrich? (Heck, he also ran over and killed someone, no?)

nah that was some awful drafting and we followed it up the next year with Dixon and Carter. I think those two years were the hardest of being a Cowboys fan. if you stuck with it through that you arent a bandwagoner thats for sure.

I am giving a serious reply instead of the so called comics most have tried to be.

Austin would be good to let go because if he has not learned how to catch by now he NEVER will. Just like Randal Williams. Hurd is a pretty solid guy and would be better kept around.

Ayodele is solid but good to go since he can be replaced fairly easily.

Marten did not impress me and I would not really have a problem letting him go.

Jacob Rogers didn't kill anyone but he has to be at least a tie with Goodrich as a player. There are plenty of other 2nd round bust from the past also.

Marten was only a rookie and his problem was pass protection (he's a terrific run blocker) so he could end up being a OG.

How can you say a small school prospect coming into his third year cannot possibly improve an aspect of his game? Thats silly.

I also heard a lot of that was technical issues like footwork, lean and whatnot. Houck i would think can help with that.

I agree...Houck is gonna be great for Marten, Free and McQuistan I think

I've said it all offseason but I really believe Houck is gonna make a big difference for us

Seriously tho... my guess would be a wide receiver...Austin or Hurd.
It's a position of serious need for the Titans - and with us adding a 1st day receiver in the draft - it's a position of depth with us.

Fuzzy, he had years in college to learn how to catch and didn't. He has had two training camps here and two years of playing and has not learned how to catch consistently. Anyone thinking that he suddenly is going to have hands of glue is just plain dumb.

Other players have done it and he always doesnt use the best technique in hand positioning etc.

How long do you wait? Frankly we have given him a chance and he has not measured up. EIther he can't learn or won't learn; enough is enough.
Show me a WR that came into the NFL and substantially improved his hands.
