I've never been as into a swimming race as I was by the end of that one. It was amazing, the announcers had completely written the Americans off.

Yep, I saw that race. It was very exciting at the finish, and I am glad the Americans pulled it out.

The Americans had beat the previous record by 4 secs, but even the 5th place team came in under the previous record. Now that was a tight race.

and the 6th place Canadians were only 3 tenths off the world record from the last olympics. The suits are certainly increasing times.

That was the most exciting swimming final Ive ever witnessed. The announcer dude was like theres no way the Americans can beat the French, and for awhile it seemed he would be right. But the anchor dude (sorry the only person I know is Michael Phelps) muscled out the energy and determination at the end and pulled it off. Awesome. Michael Phelps- 2 gold, 6 more to go.

What makes this victory even sweeter is the French guys were talking their smack and it backfired. haha.

I did last night. I could not believe the anchor leg caught that guy with the lead he had. Absolutely one of the most exciting swim races I have ever seen.

I saw that race as well. My girlfriend is really into the Olympics, and we were both off the couch screaming when we caught the french with 1/4 of the pool to go.

It was amazing!
