Anyone know why a fan spends more time on an opponents board then their own?

Just curious as to why some fans would waste so much time on a cowboys board than their favorite teams boards. It is hard enough keeping up with the cowboys besides trying to keep up with an opponents too,in such detail.maybe they get paid to scout for rumors, who knows?lol.

Many people enjoy playing Devil's Advocate; arguing for the sake of arguing, even if you don't really believe/are passionate in what you are arguing for.

I would assume those individuals find arguments on opposing teams' web pages much more often than on their own teams.

I would guess, however, that most fans merely lurk on opposing teams' message boards in order to get an insight on opposing fans reactions/views to player and team performance/movement.

Many of the other teams lack active message boards.

If you want to talk football, you need to go to a board where people are talking.

1. The Cowboys have more fans than any other team in America.

2. The Cowboys fans are knowledgeable about football.

3. On the average, Cowboys fans have a lot of class and welcome the views of other teams fans.

4. A lot of teams don't have enough fans to maintain a chat room...

To get accurate info :D

This is precisely correct, even if you were joking. There is no better way to have a true feeling of what is going on with a rival team than to follow some of the more informed message boards.

Well, it's still preferable to your kind of lurking.

Because sometimes an objective, outside voice is needed to balance out the resident ...

I'm glad you labeled the picture, otherwise I'd have never guessed what genus of mammal that was.
