Anyone know why a fan spends more time on an opponents board then their own?

I wrote a paper on this in High school, how so so many non Penn State grads from Philadelphia "adopt" the Nittany Lions football program as thier own because their inability to deal with the winning draught they have experienced. Yea I got an A.

One supposes you spelled "drought" correctly on that paper, or the best you could have hoped for would have been an A minus...
