See why Jerry isn't so unhappy with Bill waiting?

Billick, Shotzy, maybe even Holmgren -- all on thin ice.

Well if Holmgren is going to get the can ( which I highly doubt) then we need to tell Bill thanks but no thanks.... Holmgren would be a great coach for Dallas.

i agree, and they totally shut down NE's running game, brady threw 51 times.

If our Defense could play as well as SD's, we'd still be playing next weekend, IMO, with homefield advantage.

I can see as how YOU would want BP to come back for another year, it makes perfectly good sense. I can also see why Phoenix Talon would want him back and the Giants fans, too. It's all so clear to me now.

That's a pretty ignorant statement.

At least we're .500 vs the Eagles since BP came aboard (I think we're .500 vs the Gnats too). Compared to what we were before, that's pretty good. Yeah, they (fans of those teams) sure to prefer that over the dominance they had over us before.

Beast would take Marty ball in a nano-second over manboobs. Marty is an excellent coach, just has had some bad breaks in the playoffs. They should have won if not for a fluke play. (alot of that going around these days).

I would much rather go 14-2 and get beat on a fluke play than drop 4 out of 5 in mostly blowouts before getting beat on a fluke play.

If Tuna comes back it is going to be one depressing offseason, do you really think anything is going to change?

do you know how ridiculous the third person thing soounds? I don't even read your posts anymore cause it annoys me so much. Just use I for crying out loud.

Ahh...back to the BP is better than Campo defense. To bad the other 31 teams do not have Campo as their head coach, we would be in great shape.

not asking you to leave, but the third person gimmick isn't cute anymore. There are a ton of people on every single forum that do it and its tired. People will take you more seriously if you drop it. I was trying to help you.

BURN!!!!!

Beast agrees my friend. This argument that it is better to be 9-7 and 1 and done than 5-11 is laughable.

It is like the doctor telling you, "we have good news, instead of amputating your leg we are just going to cut off your foot".

Why you hatin on the Beast today? Lots of things to be happy about today.

1. Zimmy is gone.
2. See reason # 1
3. The Eagles choked as usual
4. Jerry is finally getting pissed with this mediocre crap.
5. Roy is going to be a "rover" next year, should be fun to watch.
6. Still hope that Tuna retires, with each passing day hope builds.

No playoff wins in 13 years is just "bad breaks"?

There are few guarantees in life but I do guarantee that if we bring him in, and he runs, runs, runs, and chokes, posters will say, why did we hire such an old fart who has never been innovative.

Yeah, that has always been my goal for the Cowboys. Go four years without a division title, 0 playoff wins and all this accomplished in the weakest conference I have ever seen.

Do you think Dallas would have made the playoffs once under BP had Dallas had the luck of playing in the AFC? Now where would BP be for the year. Fifteen or sixteen? If he could only win 9 games in the NFC logic tells you his record would be worst in the AFC. Are you still giddy about the great accomplishments of big Bill?

I keep hearing we are so close. First of all, depends on what your definition of close is. We have been one game over par ball the last two years. We have yet to beat one of these weak NFC teams in a playoff game.

Well we were 3-1 against the AFC this year, but your point is moot, we are in the NFC so who cares what we could have done if we were in the AFC.

Yeah, we were 3-1. We were very forutnate to play the Titans and the Texans. Remember we played the Titans when they were reeling not the Titans in which VY was not a first game starter. Texans...enough said.

Colts was a quality win. Never said we would go winless.

This is why it is important. Go ask the Bills what it was like to be the most dominant team in their conference? First of all we are not even close to being the dominant team in a weak conference, but that would be a step in the right direction.

The Bills were clearly outmatched when they had to play a real NFC team. The AFC has won five of the last six Super Bowls and seven of the last nine.

If you do not get the importance of that fact we can just quit debating right now. Sure "Any Given Sunday" is always a possibility. Clearly to be the best right now you set your sights on the AFC not the weak NFC.
