Nope. The Zeke from 2016-18 is gone. The current Zeke is still a NFL back but more of a dime a dozen back

Pollard looked good and explosive.

Dowdle looked decent.

But man I'm so glad Zeke is off this team.

And Zeke still screwed us by fumbling in the Eagles game earlier today. Patriots almost had them.
Not for one second. Sadly I had to watch him actually play and he look as bad as ever. Fumbling the game away as his yearly average continues to plummet. Just 2.6 ypc yesterday and he actually got more touches than anyone.

Did not miss Zeke, but was not impressed with Pollard either. He got his yards later in the game, when it was pretty much decided. Which is great, and the way it should be.
I actually liked Rico's burst better.
However it was game 1 in poor weather. I will not judge, just state an opinion after 1 game as we all do.

Let us see what he can do against the Jets. Which has a great defense. But the Giants defense was supposed to be decent as well.
BWAAAA!!!! Critiquing a great game by Pollard with 70 yards rushing, 5 ypc and two tough TD's down by the GL.

Who was it that was telling me that Pollard couldnt handle short yardage and GL? Oh that would be you. LOL

All while your hero Zeke fumbled away the game and his horrid 2.5 ypc.

Your ability to analyze ANYTHING RB continues to be bottom of the barrel. Another sober week for you.

Even Deuce with his 1 YPC and backup linemen was faster than Zeke yesterday. Much needed change on that offense this offseason. New offensive staff with right total team mindset, true #2 WR, and faster In several positions but especially RB! Defense and ST have their mojo, we just waiting on that offense.

Kellen can have his offensive shoot out in San Diego that excites all the fans but still is a Loss. I want dominance, I want a defensive blowout, and an offense that slows it down and plays as a team with them.

I hope everyone talking about Pollard’s missing his burst understands the magnitude of his injury. He is nine moths out from that devastating injury and just to be on the field today is incredible. If he gets that burst back, which they seem to think he will, it will take a little more time.

4.14 avg on 7 carries
1 lost fumble

He looked like he dropped 10 pounds.

Nevermind them they have been doubting Pollard for a long time because they love Zeke, and want TP to fail so they can be right.

Poor jazzy reduced to cutting up our third string 5.5 rookie RB to make himself feel better about his sad hero zeke. Lol

Rico looked good.
TP looked good.
Would've like to see Luepke get some carries, but overall it was a solid performance from the RB room. I have no concerns about this group so far...short yardage, pass protection all taken care of.

Rico provided everything Zeke did at 5% of the cost. I thought Deuce looked below average…I can’t see him getting much playing time this season. If there is an injury, I think Malik gets called up and gets more reps than Deuce.

I don’t miss the “we go as Zeke goes” garbage Jerry peddled every year. That was the biggest problem with him here.

Zeke performed poorly and our RB’s performed poorly as well.

Of course the playcalling and scheming was awful as well.
