Did not miss Zeke, but was not impressed with Pollard either. He got his yards later in the game, when it was pretty much decided. Which is great, and the way it should be.
I actually liked Rico's burst better.
However it was game 1 in poor weather. I will not judge, just state an opinion after 1 game as we all do.

Let us see what he can do against the Jets. Which has a great defense. But the Giants defense was supposed to be decent as well.
That game was just a total cluster on offense for both sides, and the NY defensive front is one of the best in the league. I wouldn't put too much stock in it. TP looked fine in my opinion, and his career body of work gives us absolutely no reason to be worried. At year 5 you know what he is, and that is one of the best RBs in the league. He didn't look like his recovery from injury really sapped him of any burst which is great news.

The run game is pretty mostly dependent on blocking, and the run blocking was serviceable last night but not great.

Fat Zeke posted a 2 yards per target in the passing game. The Patriots threw it to him 7 times. I just do not understand how someone who is so unproductive continues to get touches. Taking a knee is a better offensive play that throwing to that guy and I am not even kidding. So glad we no longer have to waste so many plays.

I miss what he was 3 years or so ago. He got injured and that was it. But man when he was on. What highlights. What a powerhouse. No one can take that away from him. But this will be his last year likely. Set back and enjoy your life Zeke.

Pollard looked good and explosive.

Dowdle looked decent.

But man I'm so glad Zeke is off this team.

And Zeke still screwed us by fumbling in the Eagles game earlier today. Patriots almost had them.
Glad to see that he finally got a proper haircut. It appears he has slimmed down. We thought he looked okay.

You mean the one living in your head rent free...LOL....get over it. He made the team, is a 6th round pick, and appears has brought misery to your life....that's a win in my book.
he doesn't understand that the game dictated we didnt need deuce vaughn, but he will get into the games at some point in the year and he's going to make some big plays. much like this game they chose to use Kevonte Turpin, they will have packages and as DV gets more and more productive he wil take snaps away from rico, book it..theres 17 games and this game we didn't need him.., why would the coaches show those packages in a game that was unnecessary?? you know who would have done that MOORE would have exposed the whole offense in a blowout game..

That's what I saw. Polly was 6/13 at one point in the game. Ineffective inside runner. I actually thought Dowdle was better last night.

However, Polly is coming off an injury and might simply be having a slow start. To be seen.

Pollard's vision and quickness are just so good. The TD that he scored on his run to the right was a thing of beauty. He recognized the defender was going to meet him before he got to the endzone, is simply stopped let the guy run past, and immediately punched it in. Zeke would try to power through the defender and most likely gets stopped at the line. Dowdle brings some of that power we miss from Zeke with fresh legs. Right now I prefer Pollard-Dowdle, than Zeke-Pollard. I saw that with much love for the what young Zeke did for our team in his first 4 years.

This is zekes final year in the NFL
Why? He looked dang good yesterday from what I saw. Lost 15 pounds, and appears to have a bit of spring back to his step. Why do you think he'll be done after this season?

You all are so unloyal.

I missed seeing Dak and Zeke together. I watched that duo grow up together, lose tough games, and give us memorable experiences. Those two gave us one of the greatest seasons we've had in three decades and, for that, I am forever grateful.

I don't miss his productiveness -- or lack thereof -- on the field, but I was sad that it's over.
