I wouldn't mind seeing Zeke on the sideline on a super cheap contract, but in terms of on field performance, I think the game his passed him buy in terms of elite performance

Were you overly impressed with Zeke's 2.6 ypc average yesterday?

Top 5 RB right?
Is your hatred so great that you can't even acknowledge that he averaged 4.1 per carry?

And who's saying he's a top 5 RB? As usual when it comes to this player, you are delusional.

Look there's no reason to keep bringing zeke's name into every damn thing that happens now.. He's gone but let me tell you this give the man some respect he was one of the best players not just running backs in the Dallas Cowboys history whether you like it or not you're underrating the man.. When healthy when he was younger he was better than Pollard hands down... But yes we manufactured some runs yesterday we did not look explosive we did not look strong in the run game but we did some good things just enough but I would like to see more from all the running backs by committee.. Is there matter of fact I'd like to see deuce Vaughn more than I'd like to see Rico dawdle..

I'm just saying zeke's gone let's leave his name out his posts from now on. I thought finally when the man got a new job and left here he would be left alone and I'm really getting tired of all the hate.. No the answer is no I'm not glad he's gone first four year in the league seat plus his back-to-back years in college was one of the best running backs ever..that 6 year run was recuiulous power would never have a shot that back-to-back 1800 yards in the playoffs with a really good team and he carried that offense in the college football playoffs.. Tony Pollard can't spell the college football playoffs and put up 200 yard games like zeke did.. Then come in and put up 1600 yards as a rookie should have been rookie of the year nearly have three straight rushing crowns right out of college.. The disrespect right there needs to stop or this is the kind of thing you're gonna get for keep putting his name in your mouth... He was let go because of his cap hit and his age and injuries were catching up to him.. But that does not diminish what he did here as a Dallas cowboy so stop talking like we are glad that he's gone!!!
Cowboys history is loaded with great players - Zeke had a stretch of 4 years of quality play, two of those years were prime. He lost what was "special" about him after the 2017 season - he couldn't hit the second level like he did in previous seasons.

Zeke's draft stock elevates the way people talk about him. Going forward, if we contemplate taking an RB in the top 5, he better have Adrian Peterson-like abilities running the ball or it's just not worth it. Zeke wasn't worth it.

Did not miss Zeke, but was not impressed with Pollard either. He got his yards later in the game, when it was pretty much decided. Which is great, and the way it should be.
I actually liked Rico's burst better.
However it was game 1 in poor weather. I will not judge, just state an opinion after 1 game as we all do.

Let us see what he can do against the Jets. Which has a great defense. But the Giants defense was supposed to be decent as well.

Really, you were not impressed. Did you see how explosive he was, and how hesitant he was looking for the hole to get in to the endzone? Wow...

Only in your eyes and mind. Keep telling yourself that. If it makes you feel better.
I feel great.
C’mon maayne.

Everyone knows your schtick. You’ve been trying take victory laps on simply asserting the “truth” and not actually demonstrating it.

I felt bad seeing him fumble yesterday. Something very likeable about that dude, and man, he can still bring it.

imho, Tony has lost some speed.

You could see it when #37 ran him down from behind on the right side b gap running play.

That would not have happened last season.

Of course, #37 runs a 4.40
Pollard is coming off a major injury. He might never have the same speed/quickness again. Which is why I was nervous giving him the money we did.

You bring up a good point. Why...can;t we appreciate zeke? Look up "best Dallas Cowboys RB". What do you see?

People make excuses about "contract". "Hair". "Nose ring". Fake phony suspension. "party boy". WHO CARES! 3rd best RB we even had, and he let us ruin him. You think Emmitt or Tony would hike the ball? That Tom Or Jimmy would even ask them too? Please. Stop that nonsense is so embarrassing.

How fitting the final play showcased Dallas misuse and abuse of a great Cowboy player. And this thread proving how fans are such egomaniac, narcistic, unappreciative idiots about it. Here's your Kool Kids Klub certificate!

Fine...we'll move on (except the haters that can't). But he's in the books....they will have to live with that till their dying days.
