You bring up a good point. Why...can;t we appreciate zeke? Look up "best Dallas Cowboys RB". What do you see?

People make excuses about "contract". "Hair". "Nose ring". Fake phony suspension. "party boy". WHO CARES! 3rd best RB we even had, and he let us ruin him. You think Emmitt or Tony would hike the ball? That Tom Or Jimmy would even ask them too? Please. Stop that nonsense is so embarrassing.

How fitting the final play showcased Dallas misuse and abuse of a great Cowboy player. And this thread proving how fans are such egomaniac, narcistic, unappreciative idiots about it. Here's your Kool Kids Klub certificate!

Fine...we'll move on (except the haters that can't). But he's in the books....they will have to live with that till their dying days.
Can you name me a moment after the 2017 season that is memorable about Zeke? A single play? A game that he dominated so much that you can say without him we'd have no shot at winning? I'm not saying Zeke never made plays or had no good games, but what was Zeke's defining moment? Most came in his rookie season.

Pollard is coming off a major injury. He might never have the same speed/quickness again. Which is why I was nervous giving him the money we did.
Not true.

Pollard did not have a major injury.
A major injury would be considered an ACL or Achilles tendon tear or Lis Franc. His fibula fracture did not even
require surgery or screws. It self- healed, and his high ankle sprain was a minor procedure.

Some are either naive to Pollard's recovered injury,.. or they want to insisting he's still hurt because they don't like him.

Rico provided everything Zeke did at 5% of the cost. I thought Deuce looked below average…I can’t see him getting much playing time this season. If there is an injury, I think Malik gets called up and gets more reps than Deuce.
To be fair, let's see him get carries with the starters out there.

I get it. You are challenging me. And that's cool.
But you missed the part where I said we ruined him.

Here's the 2022 highlights.

The very first play he has a PILE of defenders on him. He doesn't go down.

The second play he makes 2-3 defenders miss.

The 4th play....hurt. Barkley sits for several games or more after that play.

I mean...by now...what is it you want me to show you? Something you haven't seen? You expect me to change your mind? You haven't seen the time and time again he had to block for our stupid o-line?

You want to see the team doctors MRIs?

What is it you really want? He had an epic rookie season and he could never match or beat it? And that is all his fault.

Okay. Fine.

Oh look...our team physician chimed in...cool!

Is your hatred so great that you can't even acknowledge that he averaged 4.1 per carry?

And who's saying he's a top 5 RB? As usual when it comes to this player, you are delusional.
Ive spot on about that loser.

And you hate it

Zeke's 2022 season was unremarkable and none of that is defining. Nobody remembers that stuff. You see that from multiple RBs.

Derrick Henry has the 99 yard TD run that tied it with a Cowboys legend and stiff arms players into the abyss every other week. And Zeke has what....pushing a pile? Zeke's biggest and most memorable plays came in his rookie season and one game in 2017. That was it.

The idea that he is one of Cowboys best players of all time is just absurd.

I don't miss what become of Zeke one bit. Massively overpaid for his production. Glad the FO has learned and cut bait.
How long....... how long did it take to dismiss the notion of once great gladiator days at RB.
Dime a dozen now, I wouldn't have paid the price for Bijan for the 8th overall when I could draft his understudy Roschon in the middle of the 4th.
Take a look at RJs stat line for a rook RB week one.
Teams see greatness in the Bijon Robinsons and Gibbs, and they should, they will be electric, but you can grab gems like RJ on a major discount if your smart enough to recognize.

But he is....third best RB in cowboys history.
The idea that he isn;t....is just hating absurdity. Look at the stats. Disagree with those not me.

Nobody cares.

That says nothing since there was always a drop off after Smith and Dorsett. You have Smith and Dorsett and a couple years from Walker and a couple seasons from DeMarco Murray.

What we thought Elliott was going to be is what Nick Chubb is.

Just between us, Typhus...I'm still counting on them and take out a team at the knees. Surprise again!!
