Anyone notice that Keys gets way more love on the Panthers than he did with us

Like I said, he always got a bad rap. He was negatively thought of before we traded for him.

Well overall Keyshawn has had a storybook playing relationship with the Cowboys. I don't think he is getting favorable press with the Panthers now because he is away from the envied Cowboys. That is fan conceitedness. Keyshawn reestablished that he was a productive and level headed as a Cowboys receiver the last few years.

It would be awkward to criticize him for anything that happened previous to his tenure with the Cowboys.

And enough with the 'finally used TO right' stuff. .

Look, TO should have been more involved in the frickin Eagles game.

You remember the first reception he got in the second half? That little bubble route.... He should have gotten some of those early just to get him involved. The Eagles dictated what we did because the coaching staff let them. Playmakers make plays if you get them the ball, and there are more ways than one to get a the football. Bubble route, Reverse, Halfback Pass, Flea Flicker, and so on.

Like him or not, we don't/didn't know how to use him correctly. Part of it is Bledsoe, part of it is the O-line, most of it is the type of offense we run.

I have a gut feeling that TOs frustrations are going to flare many more times this year, if only because of the inconsistency of our offensive play calling.

Get your playmaker involved early and often. If you don't, you have no idea what your doing.

When he was with us the media was quick to call him over the hill and even more slow and plodding than he had been for his career

Now in Carolina all of that talk is just gone and Key is hero in the media's eyes

Just a small little observation

I think the main issue was he was coming from a team where he had been deactivated and even before he became a Cowboy, there just always seemed to be an ill wind following him (being deactivated, Warren Sapp's comments about him, the whole issue with his wife/ex-wife etc etc).

I think in Dallas he was able to salvage his image because he didnt make alot of waves. So when he moves on, people just judge him by what he did at his last stop, which was Dallas, as oppose to what he did 2 stops ago in Tampa Bay.

Im sure this will start a FLAME WAR, but I think there were alot of people in the media and most definately some people on this board that felt Parcells treated players that had played for him before better than the ones he was not so familiar with.
