Anyone oppose signing JPP in offseason?

Anyway, the road to the SB runs through the draft. The Cowboys are proving that with Elliott, Prescott and the OL. Yes, take a few well chosen FA's but don't go crazy with the idea. They seldom work out as planned and kill the club cap wise for years after. Draft defense first and follow it up with more defense.

Yup use FA to bridge to drafted players especially positions that take longer to develop like WR, DE, DB

Nope. I prefer players on the upswing of their careers, not the downswing.

If it were a reasonable deal, then you have to look but JPP is looking to get paid after playing on the franchise tag.

Nothing wrong with a stop gap giving you a year or 2 to draft some one but it has to be at a reasonable price.

Guys like Peppers, Freeney, etc. had a few years left after they left their original teams.

I think JPP is going to get $10 million plus so he might not be a good fit, but some one Cameron Wake would be a good add.
