Why you going back to 2004/2005 stuff in this 2007 thread?

Listen to JJ past few weeks and that's where I am getting my stuff/facts. Cowboys medically cleared Ellis a month ago to play. Fact The player is not comfortable and went out for second opinions.

Nors has been very low key since coming back here. Give him a chance.

Not like he is coming back from a pulled hammy, it was his ACL. Normally takes 1 whole year to recover, and you normally aren't 100% until 2 years after the fact, if ever.

Yes, the game is called "Watch my Tendon Heal".

I would imagine you need medical clearance just to practice. Doesnt mean he's ready to play.

no he is injured, as soon as he can he will play. We should be allowing him to heal properly instead of forcing the issue.

these conspiracy threads are getting ridiculous. Injured players miss games....that is all their is to it.

The part that makes me really suspicious is that he came out for the first practice, stayed half an hour, and then walked out. Now he can;t go on the PUP list, which is where he belongs. He did it to hold a roster spot hostage and pressure the Cowboys to pay him more.

It is good business from his perspective. Hurts the team, but good for him. It is the only leverage he has.

I dont believe that for a second. He may say some questionable things in the offseason, but during football season he has never let anyone down. He plays as hard as he can always.

I dont doubt anything he says or does during the season, he says some stuff march through june....but come the season no matter what the situation is he plays hard and gives a full effort.

I believe he just needs more time to heal, he is not superman he cant come back from an injury that has taken everyone a year to return from just because we want him to.......

No - it's usually a 12 month recovery and Ellis is 10 months in on injury. JJ and team are onboard with your opinion he should have been on field a month ago.

I disagree - and Ellis agrees with my opinion for the record. I'm not making anything up.

like I said, making junk up Nors...you just cant help yourself

except it was Jones who decided not to put him on the PUP list...they could have PUP listed him at anytime before the final cutdown and had him ineligible for the first 6 games...they didnt do it because they thought he might be ready before then...and of course now we see reports that he may go through a full practice Wednesday and if he can with no setbacks, good bet he plays vs Miami or at latest vs Chicago

Ellis had nothing to do with whether he was on the PUP list or not

No kidding. The only thing worse is when proven NFL vets are being called out by keyboard jocks who couldn't log onto Cowboyszone with a pinky hangnail.

And Ellis felt the pain in his heel when he pushed off on another player. Not surprising, as that's different than just running and doing agility drills.

This isn't that big a deal. I still think Ellis plays 3/4 to 2/3 of the season for us.

How do I put him on "ignore"? He sure qualified for the list!
