Seattle isn't good this year.

I mean really it's comical how people act like this is the same Seahawks team that went to the Super Bowl.

They're not.

Their secondary has given up a lot of big plays, Bennett has been the only player on that DL getting pressure, their linebackers outside of Wagner are average at best, they're not getting turnovers only ranked 17th, and their offense has been just as pedestrian as ours.

Thats fine. We'll see. You are a believer and I respect that. Some of us don;t believe they have a shot and you should respect that. I think this game has something like 27-9 written all over it. Its my opinion. We'll know in 7 days.

The Seahawks will win by 3 touchdowns probably. The Cowboys can stay in games with mediocre to bad teams right now, but Seattle is actually good. They'll pound this team into the dirt.

The way the offensive line looked today gives me hope. La'El clearly gave us a spark and boy those three All Pros from last year played like it. Frederick and Martin in particular and especially on the goal line. They looked like the offensive line we saw last year. Blowing guys off the ball and the line of scrimmage. Sustaining blocks. Getting to the second level. They adjusted the scheme which I thought helped because I believe we're better as a power running team and not as good at zone running. At least not this year.

Let's be honest they will face a much bigger test next week up front against Seattle. All though they haven't been quite as disruptive up front and they've had some miscommunications in the secondary and big plays given up particularly in the fourth quarter as a result. Think we have to see more Christine Michael. As much as I loved seeing McFadden ran like he did the guy isn't gonna last if we keep running him 30 times. Needs to be more balance within the run game and hopefully Randle can play because he looked good to start before hurting the back.

Defensively we're facing another weak offensive line. Much like the Giants they're vulnerable in the middle of that line because they haven't adequately replaced Max Unger who I thought was their best linemen. Containing Russell is always key. Lynch got going. He's been dealing with a hamstring, but the Giants really pounded us early. Rolando McClain needs to take on and defeat blocks better. With the lack of gurth up front he has to be able to shed blocks, attack, fill holes, and bring Lynch to the ground. Byron Jones has been superb matching up against tight ends and I see zero reason to believe he can't do the job against Jimmy Graham. It'll be a fantastic matchup between two freaks of nature.

As disgusted as I am with this team right now there were some good signs. Already touched on the ground game, but the recievers showed signs of life. Brice Butler with his size made some tough catches and would like to see him utilized more on the goal line. Take advantage of his size and strength. Terrance was pathetic on the comeback route, but we got him a deep drag route down the field and I feel that's when he's at his best. Catching the ball on the move and please no timing patterns with this dude. Getting zilch from Beasley right now. Did a good job using Whitehead on some reverses. Let's see what he can do as a reciever. Hasn't really gotten that opportunity yet.

Matt Cassel made some really nice throws. Fit the ball into some tight Windows. Escaped the pocket. That throw in the corner of the end zone to Street was perfect. He definitely made throws Weeden couldn't. The turnovers cannot happen. The first I don't put on him. I like the taking shots, but you have to confine yourself and not be reckless. Terrance had his man beat, but he was late and just didn't really see the field particularly well. Forcing it into double coverage. Just have to cut that out. Take shots when they're there. Seattle has struggled in the middle of field and defending it. Outside of Wagner the rest of their backers can be exploited in coverage. I expect a big day from Witten. To me there's a fine line between taking calculated risks and just being dumb and making dumb decisions. You can't play scared, but as a quarterback you have to find that fine line between not being conservative, but not being reckless either. If one of your recievers is turned loose down the field I think you have to let it rip, but you can't be late and can't stare down recievers and telegraph. Not in this league.

Seattle is clearly not the same team. Russel Wilson has basically been a one man show at times this year. Graham has gotten going a bit the last few games, but he hasn't had the impact many anticipated. Their recievers still struggle to get seperation if you don't allow them to get the run game cranked up and keep Wilson in the pocket. The Cowboys had a great defensive game plan last year. Played stout man coverage and plastered their recievers, rushers were disciplined, didn't allow Lynch to break many tackles, really good job gang tackling him, stayed in our gaps, got off blocks, were disciplined in pursuit, and didn't allow their offensive line to stone wall our backers like we did today. That needs to be duplicated. If it is we give ourselves a chance.

When pigs fly! Ok, the kid in the commercial did it but I do not think this pig is going to fly!:(

The Seahawks are not the same team this year, defensively and offensively they have been burnt. They should have lost to the lousy Lions team and they beat up on a horrible San Fran team whippty doo da. Yes we break out next week and give it too them.

I believe Seattle is the type of team that is gonna need one good game to get on a roll. And who is a better opponent for them to get up for than the Cowboys? A defensive score is likely and maybe even a score on specials.

I can't really count any teams out. We said the same thing with the Saints.

With Tony and Dez, Without question. Without them? Only if we win the turnover battle. I don't know the stats, but I'll just go off recollection with the turnover stats of:
-3 against Giants
+1 against Eagles
-1 against Falcons
0 against Saints?
-1 against Patriots
-3 against Giants

With a + turnover ratio, we can certainly beat Seattle. We're not great without Romo and Dez, but they are not the juggernauts of 2012/2013 and rely heavily on opponents' mistakes/turnovers. If we were playing them at C-Link, then I'd say we are heavy, heavy underdogs without our offensive weapons, but this being in Dallas takes away quite a bit of their comfort. Win or lose, it will be an absolutely ugly game, IMO.

On any given Sunday anything can happen. there are no teams that are invincible not even the Patriots, Packers, or Broncos.. Did any of us really believe last year that we could go up to Seattle and punch them in the mouth like that. Yes i know we had Romo and Dez, but this team has to pull up it's socks and each player has to finally show up and play. Enough is enough as the season is on the line.

I say this with great sincerity....it is quite refreshing to see some of you guys that still have hope. I can't muster any hope up, but it sure is nice to see some of you guys thinking that the season isn't all but over. Thats a good job out of you guys.

The people here will be optimistic until they're mathematically eliminated. That's fine, but not realistic.

Didn't they do that today for the most part? :(

Dallas can't get two of the three phases working at the same time and don't expect that to change anytime soon. It will need to be a complete, all-around game to beat Seattle this time around.

Call me crazy, but I think Cassel will look at the tape see the obvious boneheaded throws and play more within himself. If that means checking it down 10 times that's fine. As long as that's not his first option. Can't give the football away three times and expect to win on the road against a division opponent.

It's unfortunate because Cassel made some phenomenal plays. That touchdown throw on the run to Street was a thing of a beauty. Weeden couldn't make that throw, doubt he'd even try. Williams really screwed him over on that comeback route. That was another good throw. Made two nice throws down the field to Witten and Terrance. Back shoulder to Brice.

Those two interceptions were killers when you have a chance in all likelihood to get something on the board. Bottom line clean that up, keep feeding DMC, this offensive line clearly restablished their identity, keep Russell in the pocket, and can't allow ourselves to get overpowered by another mediocre offensive line and we got a chance.

SEA has their share of problems. I think it's unlikely, but possible.

Yeah, the "any given Sunday" is a great saying to fall back on, but we need 7 or 8 more of those Sundays and I don't see it.

I think Dallas can win too just don't see it happening. Cassel gives us the best chance to get a win, not Weeden. Yes, his mistakes cost us but we would have never been in that position with Brandon at the helm.

Of course, we are talking Cowboys here. This is what probably happens: we steamroll those guys and all is well at Valley Ranch then they go on to lose the next two in a new fashion.
