if you think having a low center of gravity has little impact on the RB position, and shorter RBs already have a low center of gravity...I don't know what to tell you then
Nice logic.

And I'm stating that they're not the same size. Every scout in the nation pegged him as ALMOST too small to play in the league.
Whatever you win......DeAngelo is a hobbit....you happy now?

I don't think having a low center of gravity has little impact on the RB position. I didn't state that it does. I didn't imply that it does. I don't know how you inferred that at all. I think that having a low center of gravity is certainly a benefit to a RB. HOWEVER, I said that AGILITY has to do with other factors than low center of gravity.

yet the whole point of my involvement in this thread is to explain to you why you shouldn't fear shorter RBs

no, seriously, that's common knowledge, or is supposed to be, when talking about RBs, you'll be doing yourself a favor, do it right now

This is like talking to the brick wall in your sig. I don't fear 5'10" RBs. I AND EVERY SINGLE OTHER SCOUT IN THE NATION fears 5'8" RBs. Why? Because they typically can't handle the daily pounding.

having a low center of gravity that helps them bounce off hits says they can! shorter backs already have a low center of gravity, again, take my advice and educate yourself

Let me ask you this question. Does being shorter automatically makes someone more agile? Hopefully you will see the folly in your logic from this question.

if you knew the definition of low center of gravity and all it's uses, you won't see any folly

I still see that you're deciding to be obstinate

Let me help educate you. Agility has to do with muscles. Being shorter doesn't mean that someone is more agile.

then how come most of the shifty NFL backs are smallish? and having a small frame means it's easier to fill out and add muscle

and so I guess you've moved on from the foolish idea that smallish NFL RBs can't carry the ball 20-25 times a game?

Arguably the shiftiest RB in the league (Reggie Bush) is 6 feet tall.

No, I said 5'8" RBs can't typically carry the ball 25+ times/game for a long period of time.

he's the exception, not the norm

ones who fill out their frames can

being able to carry the ball 25+ times a game for a long period of time is about minimizing how many hits you take, having a low center of gravity, which smaller backs, esp. 5'8" ones, are already blessed with, goes a long ways as they bounce off more hits than they take head-on, that's why having a low center of gravity, which greatly enhances balance, and being compact is so neccessary for a back, doesn't matter if you're 6 feet or 4 foot
