Where normal guys compete against ex-Pro athletes and try to beat them at their sports?

It's funny.

Jerry Rice just embarassed these guys.

Pretty funny.

It was funny. Cheesy, but funny. Rice just embarrased those three guys. I thought they would pick some average joes that were a little more well rounded athletes. One guy could not throw at all, either a baseball or football. Another guy had never lifted a golf club before the show.

I saw about 5 minutes and it look pretty stupid. I watch them have this competition of catching footballs from a machine. Jerry Rice caught I believe 10 of 11 passes. The Joe caught 10 of 12 (I believe). Close, right? Not when you consider Rice caught every one of his passes with his hands will the Joe caught everything with his body and often juggled them a few times before holding on.

It just looked stupid. I can't imagine this show staying around for long.

That is why it is on Spike. It is stupid enough not to be on a major network and can make a living on Spike.

Damn, give it a chance.

I like the show, shows how good pro athletes are. Jerry rice not know for his speed, ran right by all of them like nothing.

I kinda thought the whole "we're the greatest, they suck" mentality by the Pros sorta messed up my enjoyment of the show. I also didn't understand why Jerry Rice got to go one on one in normal passing situations while Rodman had to shoot balls while running on a treadmill. Do they do that in the NBA? Run on treadmills and shoot balls? I also liked the fact the QB and center wore pads too...kinda like they expected the Joes to go crazy and attack them instead of Jerry. Oh well...

Jerry Rice is certainly becoming the reality TV star.

I wonder if he has intentions of trying to be an actor or something.

I am pretty sure if I had retired with the coin and rep that he had, I could find something more productive to do with my time.

one question, is Jerry RIce broke? I mean, what's with him in all these cheesy reality shows nowadays?

He's like Deion. He has to be seen on TV as much as possible.

It doesn't matter how much money I have ... you pay me a $20k or so to go up against a couple of spare guys for an afternoon in flag football, and I'll be there.

Was McMahon wearing pads? I just thought he was a big guy.

When Rice was in his heyday NFL corners couldn't cover him one on one. What do they think is gonna happen with guys who are 5'10" 190 and slow who don't know how to tackle?? Then they put Rodman, who was never a good shooter on a treadmill?? I was actually more impressed with him than Rice. Then when they did the rebounding thing with Rodman that was hilarious. I was thinking the only way they could do it was to get lucky on a bounce and that's what happend with the one guy who got a rebound. Rodman was a beast, even if they had position on him, he'd just tip the ball to himself. Overall, I thought the show has promise. Out here in LA, Petros Papadakis is a hilarious radio show host. He had John Rocker on yesterday, apparently he's gonna be on the show.... Give it a chance at least.
