Why such low standards?

I think that this assessment has more to do with the fact that we became spoiled as UT fans after having Vince Young lead this team to greatness over the last two seasons.

This is only Colt's second game as UT's starting qb and he has never played a game like this with so much on the line in front of so many people before. I believe that as a freshman, he's doing a remarkable job.

I agree Davis sucks, but that one was on McCoy.


He had a bit more time, but he checked down to his safety valve too soon.

Checked down hell, that was going to Selvin Young no matter what. Greg Davis is doing what he has always done, get conservative and choke in a big game. VY changing his plays made him look good.

Neither team has the skill position players you normally expect them to have.

I'm not making any excuses for McCoy. I said that considering everything he's up against, he's doing a remarkable job.

And OSU may have nine new starters on defense but they sure as hell aren't playing like rookies out there.

Yea, that hurt. Had he caught it, he might not have made the 1st down but it would have at least put us closer for the fg attempt.

Didn't Young also drop one earlier when Colt threw a perfect strike downfield for about 30 yards that was dropped?
