Anyone watching this Longhorn game?

True- but how many QUALITY wins? That seems to be important to a lot of people.

Good game!! but I thought the Horns were going to get their butts beat.

They spotted them 14 in the 1st quarter. 14-10 at the half.

Oklahoma - OK. Nebraska- now that is questionable.

Somewhat :) ......both were in bowl games. nebraska a winner...we'll see about Oklahoma later.

Iowa certainly played better then the team that lost 5 of its last 6 to such teams as Northwestern and Indiana. But then Texas certainly did not impress.

It's uncanny how similarly the Horns play like the Cowboys. They start out slow, have a great run defense and a pass defense that is as porous as swiss cheese. They also get beat by the same plays. Some unknown slot receiver broke a 60 yard touchdown on them due to poor coverage and bad pursuit angles, then he caught two balls on the same exact play, one for a 41 yard gain then one for a 23 yard touchdown.

Aaron Ross, the Thorpe Award winner looked like Roy Williams out there. Fortunately, Michael Griffin played out of his head and made some crucial plays.

awesome game.

awesome day.

i'll try and post some pics later. got some great ones.

A Notre Dame fan talking about quality wins? :lmao2:

Yep. ND and Iowa fan. Georgia Tech was pretty good; so was Penn State. And those mistakenlymaking fun of the academies seem to forget Tenn having all sorts of trouble with Air Force; and did you notice that BC, ranked #23, was dead LUCKY to beat Navy? By the way- UCLA was not exactly nothing- ask USC about them.

Lol. Typical Domer. "Tenn had trouble with Air Force, we're #1". You don't deserve a BCS game and you know it.

What? Are you psychic or something? Nebraska hasn't played yet. That happens tomorrow(1-1-07) in the Cotton Bowl.

Gods!!

What was that on Colt McCoy's lip?

looks like Colt got into a rancid tw....err...woman.

As for Texas, they peaked early in the season and came crashing down after some injuries.

It did not help that the coaches went light contact the past few weeks of the season in practice, making the team softer than List Eater.

Texas needs to find an offensive identity next year, especially in the running game along with some other tweaks.

Not the best Texas team. Ton of talent, but never gelled on D, which I think is why they don't look all that great. But when Colt was healthy(and more experienced), they could score on anyone.
