What's silly is all the tap dancing around my questions you keep doing. :dance3: If the Saints are as good as they were last season they can repeat. The Cowboys fell well short of winning the SB last season which proves my point they still have a ways to go. The Cowboys CLEARLY have to improve to win a SB. What's really hilarious is how you twisted this comment in bold about the hype the media creates to make it sound like I said because the Cowboys lost 34-3 to the Vikings what happened in that game will have a bearing on what happens at the end of next season. "What the media says this time of year doesn't mean crap we found that out in 08. A champion is crowned in Feb not during the offseason. I think this team knows that by now and if they don't they'll continue laying an egg at the end of the season."

Wrong. Dead wrong. The point spread of a loss means nothing. Not one damned thing.

I never based my comment purely off the point spread. It's not the point spread it's how you arrive at the point spread that determines how far away you are. When a team gets totally dominated up front and their QB gets sacked 6 times as a result and it leads to a 31 point playoff loss you have a ways to go. You can spin it anyway you want but that's a fact! The Vikings TOTALLY dominated the Cowboys in the 4th quarter outscoring them 17-0. That was the most lopsided playoff game in the NFC or AFC last season. It was an embarrassing performance by the Cowboys. It had Brooking crying foul after the game because the Cowboys couldn't stop them. It was a complete mismatch!
