why is that surprising that they're actually using their full complement of players that they brought into camp you know like 90 to give them reps and get them some practice I mean isn't that what training camp is doesn't Brock Hoffman deserve some training I mean it's called training do you not know what training means that means a lot of the dudes who don't need a lot of camp are not getting as many reps and the young kids and the first time on this team type players need the reps they're getting the reps. I mean if not for training camp and preseason how would these players ever get on the field? You guys are making a mountain out of a molehill with all this stuff yes it's training camp they're using multiple players in positions they're probably not going to see in the regular season they're trying them out everywhere..
Who are "you guys"??? Your same old same old crap in every thread gets boring and seemingly gives you a way, in your mind, to just dismiss what you don't agree with en masse

The day I wrote that the RG getting first team reps in camp was Brock Hoffman. Not because we are getting everyone reps with the first team, so don't play that card, but from what I read because he is right now the top or at worst one of the top options there. Hopefully it's just to see his flexibility because of how poor Farniok was there because they may be battling for the backup center job. This must be after Ball stunk it up, again, and Farniok was moved back to center after a horrible showing at OG. The reason it makes me nervous is because our All Pro RG is holding out and our LT will absolutely get hurt and one option would be moving Tyler to LT to replace him which could possibly create a scenario where we are playing two backup OGs but almost certainly one. One could be Hoffman and the second could be a guy that Hoffman was outperforming. You apparently can't see the difference between making a mountain out of a mole hill and trying to create a roster to play an NFL season with. The last few years have shown the importance of OL depth for this team and how the lack of it has hurt us. Who is Hoffman competing with right now that will step up and play well or at least better than him? A bunch of late draft picks and UDFAs who have done nothing in this league. Most importantly all of this coming in a preseason where we entered knowing OL depth was a problem before the Martin hold out. So if you watch the OL rotation right now and feel all warm and fuzzy going into the season you clearly are drinking the Jerry juice. I think reasonable fans have known all along that the OL depth could very likely be an issue and are even more concerned now. So if "you guys" is the reasonable fans, count me in

It’s not camp fodder man it’s an actual announcement:

you're talking about practices and preseason if that's what you read into that again you guys are just trying to find something that's not there when the regular season starts, Farniok we'll be the swing guard and center,, and whoever this Hoffman kid is his snaps that he's getting now probably won't be active at all unless we have a rash of injuries to the other guys who we also have on this team nobody's mentioning but I have to keep posting. Read it again slowly this is practice he said focus more on his natural position of center and Hoffman gets more chances they mean practice reps they mean preseason reps it's nothing to do with the regular season like I already said three posts ago so again let's move on. The real lineups the real rosters won't be set until the week before game one and they're not gonna have any idea but I can almost guarantee whoever Hoffman is probably not even gonna be active this season..

don't read it then don't reply then I mean we're talking about practice? practice? we talking practice LMAO.. thank you AI

yes, we're talking about exactly what I said these other guys are being put in flex positions... they're getting more snaps because Zach Martin's not here and they're moving people around become the regular season will be far different we're talking practice and preseason

that's it ,

there's nothing to do with the real depth chart in the real roster when it set a week before the game won this Hoffman kid probably not gonna be on one active roster the entire year..... Do I stutter?? I'm pretty sure that's what I said you guys are not listening to what they're doing by putting all kinds of players out of position in flex and let them get snaps and practice while they can and in preseason but come game day that's not what you're going to be seeing...

You never make any sense. Do you understand the difference between getting TC reps and getting first team TC reps?

So here is a direct question. Knowing the team is playing Edoga solely at OT and making comments about him possibly only being a backup OT: who is our backup OG right now who will start when Tyron gets hurt and he will get hurt. Bonus question, who are our 2 OGs if Martin isn't ready to start the season and Tyron's annual injury comes in camp, which is like 50/50?

Keep replying if I don't make any sense go on move out I'm telling you what you're seeing in training camp and practice it's not what you're gonna see in the regular season they are literally practicing and moving players around to give them some position comfort and flex in case they're needed but there are a lot more guys on this roster besides Hoffman...

Hey man, it’s ok. Farniok is focusing on C because he’s not doing well at G.

If you think doing poorly at a position makes it so that you should play that position then I don’t know what to tell ya.

Not rue watched him in limited snaps last year he was every bit as solid as McGovern.. facts he is the swing G/C that wont change. Book it!

unless someone is clearly better for a REAL RS game..Farniok will be the first Guard or center in Forman injury there. Book it.

I think the coaches know better brother. They are the ones that took him out of G because they said he was struggling.

Even if you’re right, they see it the other way so that would make him a C only. I’m sure if no one else is better then sure he’ll play G if needed. But it’s not out of him being good at it it’s purely out of desperation.

OK, I'll ask again since you want to keep discussing it. If there was a question you asked that I didn't answer let me know because I didn't see it.

Knowing the team is playing Edoga solely at OT and making comments about him possibly only being a backup OT this year: who is our backup OG right now who will start when Tyron gets hurt, and he will get hurt, that you feel confident can do the job as a starting OL and doesn't make you nervous at all. Bonus question, who are our 2 OGs if Martin isn't ready to start the season and Tyron's annual injury comes in camp, which is like 50/50 who are good enough to not make you nervous at all?
