AOA at WR?

This is revisionist history. Miles did absolutely nothing his rookie year. I think his second year he showed a little bit but also showed bad hands.
Burned a couple Green Bay DB's but dropped the bombs Romo launched his way.

Drew the pass interference penalties, though. :)

How can anyone really know how AOA performed at safety? It is the hardest position to evaluate on TV because they are rarely on the screen.

I think the the AOA supporters are just going on his draft evaluation and the AOA haters are just going on his performance on Kick returns.

I think most fans are going off the fact the organization came to the conclusion that he was worth risking and effectively losing him, by releasing him initially a few weeks ago.

Teams don't take that risk with players they deem too valuable to lose.

That wasn't his rookie year.

Jerry trying not look stupid again.

SMH... dude let it go already! You have made it clear 1,600 times how much you hate Jerry. It's tiresome to keep hearing it. This has nothing to do with JERRY! He was cut! He is not on the 53! He is a PRACTICE SQUAD GUY! What part do you not understand? Damn!

As always there are probably a lot of people in the middle and on either side of the two simple groups you mentioned. I'm not sure I consider myself a AOA supporter because I'd be fine if they cut him to sign another player to the PS that can contribute right now if they had to call him up.

I do think he's got the physical skills to be worth putting another year or two into, if there is not a better option out there. He has not shown to be a quick study, even when you take into account missing much of his rookie year. I would have expected him to at least look a little better in the return game by now for example.

I would certainly not want to see him on the active game day roster right now. But I'm glad he's on the PS and hope he's able to compete for a roster spot next year. If he flops and ends up cut, I don't think he was a wasted effort. We hit on a lot of small school and project guys and he clearly has the physical talent to warrant them looking at him.

So lump me in the middle, I'm hopeful he develops because of his physical ability but am not overly optimistic he will.

I'm calling it AOA makes the probowl at WR and Safety next year. He will have 140 tackles, 8 ints, 5 sacks, 105 catches 1600 yards receiving 16 TDs, beat Chuck Norris in a fist fight and bring unemployment down to 2 percent.

The AOA love/hate on the board was strong in the preseason before he was released and signed to the practice squad.

This sums up my opinion on AOA also.

I watched ever snap of the preseason games and also spent several days at training camp. AOA was one of the players that I specifically tried to see. It was easy to see that he was not good on returns; however, he was barely ever on the screen during the PS games.
