I like winning too, but once you're out of the playoff picture, I think the team should be operating to improve. Get younger with an eye on the next season. That constant rotation of improvement should be under way.
 
what about the fans that pay big to go to the games??
Do they know dallas is tanking? Trying and wanting to lose those games?
I dont think they do lol, if they did they wouldnt go.

I think the nfl needs a Tank committee, and if they think a team is losing games on purpose, they can penalize them by dropping their draft spot by
one for each game they obviously tried to lose.
That would stop this whole tanking nonsense, which is supposed to be for talent starved losers, not idiots who keep picking the wrong guys.
They should also have to refund ticket money to fans.

Also I dont think cowboys are tanking, if they are , they suck at it !
I think they are just bumbling inept, poorly coached team, that gets it right a few games against teams that are not all that good.

They might lose these last 3, not by tanking, but by just being that bad.

I think jerry wants to win as long as they have a chance at div title, and really they should try for that.

They won the cin game, so that doesnt fit in with the tank scenario.
If they lose to SF, then they should lose the last 2, but hey they might then win those!
It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I wont apologize for questioning your fandom. What kind of fan would want the 19th pick over the 3rd pick in the draft?

Its just common sense to be honest. The simple concept of winning something meaningless now as compared to winning something much more important later.

Its akin to playing a rookie QB early in his career to get him experience and know that your may lose now in order to get better faster. Even if you have a veteran on the bench that may give you a better chance to win now.

And NONE of that has anything to do with wanting the team to purposely lose games. They can play as hard as they want, I just want them to lose.

Welp Ranching you couldn't play for the Cowboys because obviously half of em don't care if they lose as long as the checks don't bounce.

The Cowboys are not getting Lawrence, even if they wanted to. But getting the very best defensive player will help soothe the wounds of the 2020 season. Pick 3-4 is far better than 10, so losing out won't bother me.
 
For the most part the ones that stand on the other side of the fence do so for the same cause. Where you are coming from makes the difference in perception.

These fans are not quitter's they have a different outcome goal. We really, really need to stop beating the fiddle and taking folks to the woodshed.
