Sad thing is they're absolutely right...
10years+ of the Jones with their Arses up their head.

your a moron. did they have there heads up their a** last year? lol.

if you actually knew the dallas cowboys & paid attention you would know that it's not all Jerry making the selections. the scouts have the most say, and they should.

what NFL team have you scouted & drafted for if I may ask? you act as if we are the lions managment over here.

None of those guys have ever been paid to scout players. The reason the mediots (and some fans) don't like it was because they didn't get any big name players that everyone knows. This draft might end up being a huge disappointment but lets see the guys play some before we flush it.

It's terrible to you because like alot of typical fans that dont see what efforts that go into scouting players 24/7 year round, you dont know jack. While your mowing your lawn or typing nonsense on this forum, a scout for the Dallas Cowboys is attending a athlete's Pro-Day, private work-out, talking to a prospects former coach or mentor. Dont spout off on all these "experts analysis" on our draft. LoL. Dont even mention it if its a media member with no NFL Scouting/GM background because its about as useless as your opinion.

ok, me and the 50 media guys, some of who played the game, who all get paid to follow this stuff are all idiots and our brilliant scouting dept knows all...which would explain why they never miss on a pick....(QC, Jacob Rogers, etc)....I thought we have had some really good drafts in recent history but this one seems like a stinker based on who was available when we picked and our needs. The only way the iggles don't beat the snot out of us again, only this time twice, is if Tony throws less INTs and Roy Williams has a career year because there was no one from this draft that will help us score points. Sure we needed help on ST and let's say we had 22 starters, you don't spend 11 or so picks on ST players and guys who aren't likely to push the starters. If that's your draft with all those picks and you don't think this draft is good, then for goodness sake trade them for next year picks. Doesn't take a pro scout to figure that out. That's common sense to any fan. This draft looked like JJ was running it again, or Dan Snyder. I hope I'm wrong and I'll happily eat crow if I must. But it looked to me like our rivals got better and we didn't, and we weren't great to begin with, nor did we win the division. You can blindly trust the scouting dept and proclaim them off limits to criticism but that's silly and not fun, esp after 9-7.
and if you don't like what I have to say...then stop reading it. Opinions are what this board is for. You can agree or disagree but a substantive counter argument would be at least interesting and spark discussion. If you could defend any of the picks we made with a reasoned argument that would be something and something worth reading. But "you're stupid" and "our scouting dept is smarter than you" really isn't very interesting reply.
PS. And who's Jack?

1st of all...50 media members havent dissed our draft. Pat Kirwan (Former GM) thought we improved the ST, got a productive, disruptive ILB, and added needed depth at Saftey, Corner, & OLB. LoL.

We landed (5) of Gil Brandts top 100 players...LoL

and I'll take my chances with "our scouts" than "yours" in the media. LoL

for every Jacob Rogers we have had Orlando Scandrick, Tashard Choice, Jay Ratliff, Felix Jones, Andre Gurode, Jason Witten, Marty "B", Deion Anderson, Bradie James, D Ware, Marion Barber, Nick Folk, Chris Canty, Patrick Crayton, Miles Austin, Keith Davis. Hmmmm....Dallas Scouts.....Media Fake Believe Scouts....Hmmm

Silver....we do have competition at these poistions.

SS......Gerald Sensabaugh vs. Michael Hamlin/Deanglo Smith/Bruce Thorton

LT.....There was no-one that could compete w/Flozell this year

WR.....Crayton/Austin over No.2 spot......Stanback....M. Johnson over 4 spot

LG.....Kyle Koiser/Montrea Holland/Brewster (Rookie)

Inside LB.....Brooking/Jason Williams/Carpenter

LDE.....Spencer/Brandon Williams/Victor Butler

not much competition. starters are in place so it seems.
