ok, me and the 50 media guys, some of who played the game, who all get paid to follow this stuff are all idiots and our brilliant scouting dept knows all...which would explain why they never miss on a pick....(QC, Jacob Rogers, etc)....I thought we have had some really good drafts in recent history but this one seems like a stinker based on who was available when we picked and our needs. The only way the iggles don't beat the snot out of us again, only this time twice, is if Tony throws less INTs and Roy Williams has a career year because there was no one from this draft that will help us score points. Sure we needed help on ST and let's say we had 22 starters, you don't spend 11 or so picks on ST players and guys who aren't likely to push the starters. If that's your draft with all those picks and you don't think this draft is good, then for goodness sake trade them for next year picks. Doesn't take a pro scout to figure that out. That's common sense to any fan. This draft looked like JJ was running it again, or Dan Snyder. I hope I'm wrong and I'll happily eat crow if I must. But it looked to me like our rivals got better and we didn't, and we weren't great to begin with, nor did we win the division. You can blindly trust the scouting dept and proclaim them off limits to criticism but that's silly and not fun, esp after 9-7.
and if you don't like what I have to say...then stop reading it. Opinions are what this board is for. You can agree or disagree but a substantive counter argument would be at least interesting and spark discussion. If you could defend any of the picks we made with a reasoned argument that would be something and something worth reading. But "you're stupid" and "our scouting dept is smarter than you" really isn't very interesting reply.
PS. And who's Jack?
