Man, I still can’t believe how JJ handled the Lamb and Dak contracts, and how Gallup and Steele were blah. He’s just a bad GM, he’s so arrogant he thinks his business acumen automatically translates to a good football personnel guy. Waited and waited and waited and ended up paying too much for both CD and Dak….especially Dak, dude should NOT highest paid QB.

Good post. What if Jerry and Stephen are trying to be coy about FA but they're all in on 2025-2027 with Dak Prescott driving the bus? He's 82, this would be his final curtain.
Jerry is an ego maniac who manages through the media. He was embarrassed this year, and Imo with close to 100M available, he may try to make up for it with a FA spending flurry that will surprise.

Can your next post be about who we're signing for the SB run? I have us adding Budda Baker, Najee Harris and Javon Kinlaw to start and we still have about 60M left.
Baker signed an extension a couple of days ago.

I like Kinlaw though and that’s possible, even though he is a bust in general considering his draft status. I’m all for adding DT depth.

Harris is a good player but if “we couldn’t afford” Henry, what changed? We were all but told this off-season will be a repeat of the last one.

They supposedly spent all the cap money on a team that we know isn’t good enough yet they expect all the fans to buy in.

If we're not top players in FA this year we should all walk away. There's nothing tight about our cap, it's been reset.

We haven't had space like this in 30 years, before there was a cap

I’m not close to waking away but as mentioned, we were pretty much already told by GM-extraordinaire Jerry that there’s no cap room due to Dak.

Still waiting for someone to ask where this is all going if there’s no shot to get better.

They seem to think one draft loaded with fifth round comp picks is the answer, while Philly finds the money to sign playmakers. How do you compete?

They aren’t cheap, they just aren’t good at managing the cap and they make the wrong decisions far too often.

Diggs, Steele and Gallup got paid. Martin wants an extra 15m for the road? No problem. Nice job.

Not signing a free agent in THIRTEEN years is beyond ridiculous. They are in way over their heads but they are billionaire narcissists so don’t try to tell them they aren’t good enough, and no one dares.

They will have 100 million in cap space.

In FA we need a lot.. a great run stuffing DT and LB, the best playmaking safety we can find, a talented RB to pair with a draft pick and a great #2 WR to pair with Lamb and Turpin.
There is plenty of Cap space to add major depth on top of this. If Jerry doesn't pull the trigger, he'll face the worst media scrutiny of his life. It will make 2024 look weak.

I've been watching this lunatic operate since 1989, he manages through the media hype and he was really embarrassed this year. I will be shocked if we're not major players in FA
