At some point the younger generation of fan has to revolt in some way right?

They've never seen success.

The older heads live off the 90s championships to this day, but the newer fans are the ones that will be buying stuff in the future.

When do these fans start to have a little pride?

Some are fans because of…

1)Proximity. Texans.
2)Generational. Dad’s team.
3)History. Glorious past.
4)Style. Cool uniforms, biggest stadium, nickname, etc.
5)Particular players, like any team.
6)12-5 last two years, taste of playoffs, lotsa coverage. JUST ENOUGH to give some hope.

We’re ALL disgusted by the lack of real contention, the failure to TRY (seemingly). I don’t know what to tell anyone, except…don’t invest too much in this whole thing. It’ll drive you crazy.

Most Cowboys fans that are aware of this FO's tendencies in the last 26 years know enough to anticipate a lack of veteran FA activity. As long as the money keeps rolling in, Jerry & Son are willing to rock along, whether they're Super Bowl competitive or not. They're just not inclined to be proactive. Being truly Super Bowl competitive requires sound football knowledge and a willingness to invest boldly in that pursuit. That's just not in their nature.

WR is the only position the Cowboys would likely be aggressive in. We've seen that with past trades and signings. The rest I would expect the Cowboys to sit back and see what happens.

Why should they be?

It's like drafting in round 1. They don't always work out so why even do it. You can get a brady late or romo undrafted. Lets just fill the roster with 6thround, 7th round, and undrafted guys so its nothing but potential. Bland is more proof, he's way better than the 2nd rounder. A team full of day 3 picks is a team full of diamonds waiting to be discovered. /end of sarcasm for now
