Horribly misleading title.

What's misleading about it? The most optimistic owner in pro sports just said it was "less likely" that Smith would be activated to practice. Unless you've lived under a rock for the last 25 years, that's Jerry-speak for "he's done for the year."

Good. Returning in December would be putting him in a position to fail. You don't want to throw a rookie in the fire like that...coming off a major injury where he hasn't played in a real game in almost a year at the most difficult part of the season where NFL teams are starting to get it together for the home stretch.

Not entirely fair to Morris who hasn't had too many touches. THAT said...I have no issue with getting DMC some touches. Zeke shouldn't continue to carry the ball this much IMHO. Skins are up in only 4 days. We have guys PERFECTLY capable to lighten his load. We need his legs fresh and firing on all cylinders for the playoffs.
