Dak deserves every penny he can get, and I don’t begrudge him his foot-dragging on this second contract. But I will say that the constant reminder that this is just a business to our players or to our team leader takes a lot of the enthusiasm I once had for this group of players way down.

Zeke’s holdout was worse in that regard, as it was a year early and a huge distraction that contributed to the disappointing 2019 season.

To Dak’s credit, he’s signed his franchise tender. But the whole thing just makes me care a lot less whether this particular group of players gets their title shot. I mean, I want the titles because I’m a fan, but this group of guys—the offensive team leaders, at least—have made their priorities really clear. It’s kind of a bummer.

Stupid, worthless and meaningless tweet. The haters will jump all over it though. You all have been sucked as Parcells would say.

It's stupid, worthless, and meaningless because you don't agree with it. Who would have guessed.

But what it shows is that with a 48 hour deadline the sides are not even speaking. To me, this ACTION speaks volumes.

Can't believe Dak doesn't want to be here long-term.

If a deal isn't done I will be very surprised and will lose a lot of respect for Dak.

Especially when looking at the amounts of money being thrown around. 35-45 million dollars is one thing but fighting to get that every year for multiple years is just crazy.. But I guess I would hire a agent and let him do his job. Only reason brady signs for less is because he has so much already. More money is likely just a headache for him with taxes. Rough life.

What a shocker, right?

A report comes out about no scheduled talks and the forum buffoon uses it as yet another opportunity to try to 'hate' and attack someone - anyone - because his miserable life sucks.

Dak is giving his agent all the control.

Big mistake in my opinion.
I heard towards the beginning he said he was very involved in the negotiations. He is either done doing that or ok with the way things are going.
