Defense setting the tone early is good

And likely has the strongest arms and chest muscles of anyone on the coaching staff.

Until the pads come on and full contact is allowed, I don't put much stock in reports of how the rb position or the front lines are doing

I think the only thing you can really measure with the RBs is their speed hitting the hole and their elusiveness. Obviously, that means more powerful backs like Williams and Mafah are not going to look as good as the more elusive ones until the pads are on.

It's just not allowed. Teams are fined for practices being too physical.

It’s very unlikely we resign him. He's in the last year of his contract. There is a bit of a log jam at the position at the moment. Dallas will most likely pay Parsons. They used another 2nd round pick on Ezeiruaku to be a cheap producer for 2-3 years. Paying Williams just isn’t in the cards.

He’s in the final year of his contract. They’re about to break the bank on Micah Parsons. They drafted a pass rusher in the second round. They need Ezeiruaku to be a cheap producer for a few years. Williams will undoubtedly be motivated for his contract year. Keeping him is always an option, but very unlikely. It would be smart to get value out of him before losing him to free agency.
