Media is starting to open up more about it now but contrary to popular belief Jerry gives head coaches freedom. Playing Rush was all Mike. Jerry wanted Lance. If Grier has a good camp….he may be our backup….it he doesn’t then he won’t be on the team.
I honestly don’t see much of a difference between Grier and Rush….
Grier is a better passer and can run.
Grier is the perfect practice squad player. He has been in the league long enough that nobody is going to poach him on waivers.
