He certainly has a stronger arm than Rush and certainly a better runner than Rush.

I'm not doubting he has better wheels then Rush. you probably have better wheels then Rush lol. Rush had a weak arm as well. But he played decent and just got paid by Ravens.

Somehow they got buried deep in the playbook.

Brian must be thorough and found them. Or knew where MM hid them.
Part of the culture change for the better.

They do with Lamb as well. IIRC he had a TD against the Colts on a deep cross.

I honestly don’t see much of a difference between Grier and Rush….

Rush is a cerebral QB who has some success because of his understanding of the game. Grier has a better arm and better running ability, but not a better brain. Grier has had five years in the league to make that clear.

Wilson had off season knee surgery. Probably just a clean up. Hooker left during stretches with medical staff, probably just tightened up.

Grier is the perfect practice squad player. He has been in the league long enough that nobody is going to poach him on waivers.

I agree with this ... to an extent. It opens up a spot to keep an extra player. However, after three weeks, we'd need to decide if we're bringing him up to the roster since you can carry a third QB to games without it affecting the active roster.

I could easily see him being one of the players we cut then bring back after camp in order to move players to IR.

I would have said its a concern given Hookers injury history, but he has played 64 out of 68 games for us. Pretty wild considering how much time he missed in Indy

It's an accurate absolute. Grier isn't an NFL player. I'll gladly die on that hill. He should be where Ben dinuchi is
