Archer: Prescott contract restructure coming

Its a 30 year issue not a 10. Prescott has a role in this era for sure but the true problem sits in the press box.Romo couldnt overcome skelator either. It took Jimmy's style to be successful but Id argue that even now in salary cap era not sure Jimmy would have made a difference. Prescotts injury history should now be a concern just like Romos was
At some point an individual player is to be held responsible for doing the job they're paid to do on the field and not blaming Jerry for said player's performance.
It was not Jerry's fault that his runner up MVP QB of 2023 was a number 2 seed and playing at home along with a history breaking 9 All Pros on his team, only to get obliterated to a number #7 seed while said QB **** the bed miserably.
That ain't Jerry's fault.
And I'm by far no Jerry apologist trust me.

It's the gloomy reality that the Prescott contract represents.
You can change the playcaller and make all the personnel support changes you want.

He still ain't winning 4 consecutive playoff games regardless.

No matter how all the surrounding roster building scenarios appear to be trending upward.
You're still stuck with Mr. Playoff Phobia guy.

Sad but true.
What exactly appears to be trending upward?

So what’s going to happen here?

They finally wake up to free agency in a year where there aren’t many good ones?

It’s fine to use to keep you out of the cellar but no good when it could put you over the top to contend for a deep playoff run?

No but you are a Dak denier and while he played a role a huge role it wasnt his fault the defense couldnt stop the packers at all. It wasnt his fault that our Oline couldnt open up holes for the RB. Everyone of them are paid to do a job and the whole team failed collectively. From Dak to the coach to Jerry but if it makes you feel accurate to put it on the QB then rock on

That will open the floodgates!!!!!!!!!

Someone good with graphics and photoshop needs to use that with Dak flowing with it.
:lmao:

Of course they'll restructure Dak. It only delays the inevitable though.

Dak will be gone after a couple of seasons, but the remaining dead money will ensure that Dallas will never reap the benefit of a rookie QB on a cheap rookie contract. This team is crippled for years.

I think the core of the team lost belief already and that’s the tough part . Or maybe im reading too much into body langauge
