I hope not. The Cowboys have a lot more confidence in Dak than I do. I'd try to keep his deal as is this year if I could. Moving $30 million into the future is the worst thing they can do. If Dak does not have a bounce back year, they are going to regret this move a lot - and so are we.

In no circumstance can I ever envision Dak Prescott ever winning 4 straight games against playoff level coaching/defenses.

If you are the type to include him in the broad, lesser tier category QBs who did win a ring I still can't include him because I don't trust him based on his history.

Just my opinion and I respect yours as well.

When we sign Parsons to 40 Mil a year we will be a way too top heavy team

That was my first thought, please don't restructure slak because that extends the time we have to keep him.

They were always going to do this unfortunately. They were going to do this the moment he signed the contract six months ago. It’s depressing but this is where we are. I would love to be wrong.

Jerry has probably been criticized more in the last 12 months that at any point since he fired Jimmy 30 years ago. Dude's ego has to be hurting.

I don't think Jerry gives 2 shats about what the fans feel. I do hope your right though. My gut feeling is bargain bin shopping again and try to hit it out of the park in the draft. Its possible to significantly improve this off season just not probable.

I hope we don't win a game this year, and our reward for such a lousy season would be Arch Manning! Messing with Prescott's already insanely horrible contract will only extend his time here or result in dead money down the road and that can't happen if we want to get back to the good old SB days! Reworking Prescott's contract isn't going to make this team any better, not the way Jerry Jones signs old and worn-out FAs to plug gaping holes on this team. I'm a realist and the real deal is Arch Manning!
