Hamlin and Barber just doing what players do when they are looking for a long term deal, not a concern just yet.

I don't know how good this team will be - seems like most of the players are more interested in getting paid than winning football games. This is not the attitude of the Pats and this is why they are so much better than us.

So then why is Asante Samuel an Eagle?

And why was Randy Moss almost an Eagle as well?

They pay just like everyone else or the players leave for greener pastures.

Money issues have nothing to do with why they are so good.

Fitting people in and having versatility are the main reasons why they are so good.

They did beat us by 21 points in our own house, for example.

They have also won lots of playoff games over the last decade.

Winning a SB requires a lot of factors to fall in place. They were 18-1 last year and played on an entirely different level than us.

The commitment of the core of their team is to win games. Our guys goof off and look for exorbitant paydays. Their players are serious and erudite and understand their responibilities when on the field.

The truth is they are much, much, much better than us right now and I don't know if we're going to ever close the gap on them.
