Are 3 of the top 4 teams in the NFC from the NFC East?

I think the rest of ya'll need to pay attention to how the Skins are playing defense and running the ball. All that is missing is a consistent passing game. If Jason Campbell becomes consistent, then the Commanders are the second best team in the NFC - absolutely.

I have been saying that since june. They are a good team, they are built to do exactly what gibbs wants to do...Play tough and win ugly.

If I were them though I would be a little concerned because Moss and portis seem to be extremely fragile, more than ever imo.

They are a good team for sure though, anyone that doubts that is foolish.

At this moment, I would rank the Skins above the Giants for 3rd in the NFC. However, when all is said and done I don't believe the Skins will be much better than 8 or 9 wins. (Then again, in this years' NFC, that might be good enough for 3rd)

November will answer many many questions, ... we play Phily, NYG, Skins and Green Bay.

We will know a lot more after that.

Detroit does not have a good O line. As has been acknowledged by many. I mean they have one of our rejects starting for them. The Skins D line is good vs the run but poor pass rushing. Against a poor O line like the Lions have they could get pressure and still use their LBs elsewhere. Against a good O line that will not happen. They will have to use their LBs to blitz, which to a good QB is catnip. romo will eat them up. So will any other good QB with good recievers. Campbell looked good against a Lion D that gave up 56 to McFlabb. whoopeee.
Now since the rest of the conference does not look very good- and since the Packers got beat last night as Favre returned to his old evil form- I think it is valid to say that the rest of the good teams in the conference are in the NFC BEAST.

I still wouldn't want to play at Seattle.

Hasselback missed so many receivers yesterday that it affected the outcome.

He was pathetic.
