MD is an energy drink. It was probably the second one in existence. I think Jolt was the first.

The reason I don't like them is they stress the body. If you are forcing your body to do stuff it doesn't want to do on a daily basis, you aren't doing yourself any favors health wise. You are better off getting more rest at night, eating well, and at least minimal daily exercise. Those will get your plenty of energy where don't need to drink garbage.

Mountain Dew has been around a lot longer than Jolt Cola. The Dew has been around in some form since the 1940s and joined PepsiCo in the 1960s. Jolt came along in the mid-1980s.
