I can't recall company men like Mickey Spagnola having ever predicted a Cowboys defeat, when they do their pre-game analysis and predictions. (If Spags or Nick Eatman ever has, then someone correct me.)
Obviously, they can't seriously be expecting the Cowboys to go 19-0 undefeated and win the Super Bowl every year. But are there any job-related consequences for Cowboys employees like Spags predicting a Cowboys defeat? Sounds like a prime case of conflict-of-interest.
why would they EVER pick us to lose?
If turds laid a turd that turd’s turd would be Mickey Spagnola.

Mickey grew up a Bears fan. Here’s a little story— when Shan sharif was hired to do cowboys radio he admitted to being a life long Commanders fan(which him and choppy have both come around to being cowboys fans it seems) and choppy said it’s not that big of a deal. That people don’t realize it but Mickey and brad sham and someone else we’re all Vikings, packers, and bears fans and give each other crap when the nfc north play each other. I can’t remember who was a fan of what since I forgot that info but you forget that these guys came from somewhere else too.
I’m sure Mickey probably isn’t really a homer but is just hired to be one.
It's been a long while but I've seen Mickey pick the opposition lots of times. He may be a bit of a homer but he is a realist as well when the Cowboys are having a bad season and they have a very good opponent on their schedule. I don't know why you have a problem with long-time company men like Spags and Eatman. Have you got an issue with Brad Sham as well?I can't recall company men like Mickey Spagnola having ever predicted a Cowboys defeat, when they do their pre-game analysis and predictions. But who's mind is thinking that thought:?

Correct me if I am wrong here, but these guys are employed by the Cowboys organization. If they are obligated by that regard to pick the boys to win each time they play, then they shouldn't be picking at all. I mean it defeats the purpose of them picking if they can't be realistic. We already know who they are going to pick, then why even bother with what they think. I used to be on that site all the time, reading articles they write. I found that during off season the articles usually created a lot of hype for the team, which in some seasons was justified and in others was completely over the top. Once I discovered Cowboyzone, I am mostly here reading the discussions here than reading the articles on DallasCowboys.com. One it is more fun here because you are interacting with people and two we are not obligated to be homers. I rather discuss things with free minds than read someone's point of view which is skewed in one direction because of who signs their paychecks. The only thing I will give them is in some instances, they have more information because they are closer to the team than the fans, information like injuries, contract situations, etc. However those come out in the national media almost immediately anyway.I can't recall company men like Mickey Spagnola having ever predicted a Cowboys defeat, when they do their pre-game analysis and predictions. I listen to Talkin Cowboys almost everyday. Mickey is critical often. His words aren’t controlled by anyone. He’s like certain people on this board , but not controlled.
I dont typically bet against my team either..it happensI can't recall company men like Mickey Spagnola having ever predicted a Cowboys defeat, when they do their pre-game analysis and predictions. (If Spags or Nick Eatman ever has, then someone correct me.)
