Are people really afraid of the Giants?

Before that little rata, Dennis Houston, signed with the Giants, I rolled 30-9 in an easy win. But I think it will be a little closer now.

COWBOYS 23 GIANTS 13

Giants signed Dennis and the Rojaskins signed Cox to be their little ratas.
Neither one of them will make that big of a difference in giving them any secrets. What those teams know they already know.
The real offense is now being installed after the cutdowns as to real game plans.

Afraid? Dallas is the better team on paper. The Giants are a good team though, and are improving.

Anyone who is counting on 2 easy wins may be disappointed. A split wouldn't surprise me at all. Division rivals usually show up.

It will no doubt be a tough game. Season opener, on the road, division rival.

They improved a lot last year, but will that carry over to this year. We will see. I think it will come down to our run game and pass protection.

I am not concerned as much with our defense vs their offense.

I edited my post… Go look at the full version. It will be a tight three team race.

Part of the problem with the Cowboys being as popular as they are, is that that they are always over-valued. It is a side effect of how much they are discussed. They are a very good team, but they are not as good as you think.

The Giants are better than you think… And the Eagles are better than you think as well. The Eagles are also worse than I think.

I hope this all makes sense… It should because we are all fans at the end of the day
That still doesn’t equal likely. It’s just an incorrect and unsupported statement. And it’s not the first time you’ve made it

When making any win and loss predictions I usually give a split with these games. Unless one team is so far ahead of the other. Which last year and probably this year, no team is.

It actually is the first time I’ve made it…feel free to go find the last time if you can

Not exactly sure why you would care so much. It’s just one person’s opinion on how the division will go this year.

Not afraid of them, no. But I do believe the Cowboys need to take them seriously and prepare for them with the best game plan possible. I suspect the Giants will have a very good team this year.
I worry that most of our starters have not taken a competitive snap in a LONG time. I have questions about team stamina as well. Those things can lead to an upset

Do you see how you’re avoiding the argument? You picked them to finish second to Philly. Feel free to join your fellow Eagles fans on their forum

Well yes… I did pick them to finish 2nd. I did not know that was the statement you were referring to (since I had only made it once before, not twice). All I said this time around is that I thought the Giants, Cowboys, and Eagles will likely split with eachother this year.

The Cowboys SHOULD be able to cut the giants down to size, but will they is a different matter. They are a decent team...but they have a running QB which Dallas always has trouble with; and i am actually more worried that the Cowboys underperform and have turnovers. It is also the first game and how they play is always a crapshoot. Anyway, need to jump on this team and keep their boot on their necks. The more they hang around it will only get tougher.

After some of the eggs I’ve seen the Cowboys lay against bad teams, I’m afraid of every team they play. Every season they have at least a couple of embarrassments where they don’t show up to play. The Giants are more than capable of beating the Cowboys if they don’t play well. We’ve lost our last three season openers. We laid an egg last year in the season opener. I’ll never trust the Cowboys regardless who they play. You never know from one week to the next, which Cowboys team will show up.

We own those losers. Dak owns those losers. We aren't losing to that second rate franchise.

I agree. Most said the same things about the Eagles last year because they were convinced Hurts wasnt a good enough QB.

Whats up with the turnover thing? I think the Cowboys have the advantage of the new system and no more predictable Zeke.

We are also completely healthy on both sides of the ball.

It’s strange, I don’t get it either, they shouldn’t be . I know the defense are licking their chops

The Giants went as far as the Cowboys did last year in the playoffs. The Giants are a good team. This is not Georgia vs Rutgers in college football.
The Giants suck. Don’t forget it.
