Are the Cowboys playing with "House Money" now or will it be after another win?

I was thinking since no one expected this team to be in the second of the playoffs this season are they now playing with house money. But then I thought that since Romo has not got beyond the 2nd round yet maybe it will take another game before we can say that the Cowboys no longer are playing with pressure. Now of course we would all love to see them make the Sb and win but if they were to win this game wouldn't they be in a underdog role in the NFC championship and SB?

The pressure would be removed since all expectations would have exceeded and anything after GB is a Bonus

Agree or Disagree?

No once you in the playoffs you want to win the entire thing.

But getting past the 2nd round would be another monkey off Romo's back and then he can just go out there have fun and be silly.

That's why I believe if they get pass GB it's a DONE DEA:L

This not about a monkey n Romo back, they playing this game to wn a championship, and they not gonna beat GB playing "silly".

I don't get this house money stuff. Sure they are better than we thought they would be but they have proved they can play and beat anyone. So it is Superbowl or bust. I hope they feel the same

Of course but you don't think it's less pressure if Romo is in the NFC championship? I'm damm sure won't criticize him if he doesn't win it all because he has played his butt of this season. Now that doesn't mean I want him to go out and throw 4 int's but I am not going to bash the man if we lose because he has done a great job this season. Plus I think if we lose to GB or seattle it won't be because of him, it will be the defense. I don't have to be concerned about Romo anymore like I did 5 years ago

This isnt complicated. You play the game to win. Odds be damned.

I know that but I was just pointing out they would be in a UNDERDOG role the rest of the season if they beat GB. A role which they seem to perform well in which was evident in the games below

at Seattle in October

at Philadelphia in December

Unless you are hoisting the Lombardi at the end of the season, you're just one of 31 losing teams. There are no moral victories.

The way this team plays and how they are capable of playing means there is no such thing as house money. This team has what it takes to win it all and if they dont it will be disappointing.

Have to be satisfied where the team is, yet hungry to win more.

Organizationally, it's incredible where good drafting has put this team.

Is that really fair after they were just 8-8 last season? Now I am happy they have a chance to compete for a SB but if they play hard and lose a competitive game I would be upset just a little disappointed since they have exceeded all of our expectations

I don't know about "house money" in a year to year league. However, there's no doubt that the feeling that would have accompanied a loss to Detroit isn't really possible any more. And we all know what they feeling is, because we were feeling it for about 57 minutes...

Yeah. Silly phrases. Silly meanings.

Any team in the playoffs is playing to win it all.

One and done or coming up short for a chance to represent your conference to get to Super Bowl and win it all is.....illogical.
